04/11/2018.. Premiere of "La Bayadère" after Marius Petipa in the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. With the Staatsballett Berlin and the Staatskapelle Berlin under the conductor Victorien Vanoosten.
Music by Leon Minkus.
With prima ballerina Polina Semionova as Nikia.
The video shows the "Danse de Nikia" from the first act and the "Scène de Danse de Nikia" from the second act.

Beautiful and Breathtaking!!💝Truly is a pleasure seeing Semionova being Nikiya on these two scenes she is truly graceful and full of spirit!!💗The second Act was quite impressive how Staatsballett integrated the sitar into the variation then brought the flower basket The backrounds wonderful as well Bravo!!💕

Не очень удачная идея с инструментом. В пряжках не смотрится и путается рукав. А для фото было бы прекрасно
А вообще реконструкция мало отличается от советских версий в этих фрагментах..
Poor Semionova, what heavy and uncomfortable costumes... close to original maybe, but so difficult to dance with and penalizing lines..
Для немцев эта реконструкция и вообще русский имперский балет наверно как театр Кабуки.. что-то слышали, что-то знают, а с чем его едят - загадка..
