Just to explain so you all understand it FULLY, I will explain in order. The Neighbor is Theodore Masters Peterson, The boy is Aaron Peterson. The girl who was killed by Aaron, was his sister, Mya Peterson. After losing the mother of the family, Diane Peterson, Aaron gets into an aggressive state, and in one of his out lashes, ACCIDENTALLY shoves Mya off of a ledge (the roof). Theodore also gets paranoid of a 'shadow' figure. Seeing this, he locks Aaron in the basement or some other container in order to protect him. Nobody has thought of this, but drugs may have aided Theodore into his AMAZING strength and overall aggressiveness.
So you're telling me there may be a chance that Mr. Peterson has been using Pervatin? It just feels like he'd qualify for someone who's under the influence of it, such as with what you have mentioned about how he may have gotten his strength and aggressiveness.
If im a bit honest i kinda wish they kept the concept from hg and the alphas with the crow. Something about it just stood out to me. The abandoned theme park and houses were a huge step up in horror compared to the first game.

I don't know how to explain it, but if you compare the models from the previous game to this one, there's just been a lot of subtle changes, and comparing old Aaron to new Aaron, the old kind of doesn't feel like it fits HN2's new style.
Highly possible that this game takes place in a time before the original Hello Neighbor 1 though, it could be backstory since the neighbor looks less developed (to me) as well. The telivisions as well (as an example) only have a turning dial to switch the channels, while in the first game those have remotes. That's just my view point LOL

The ending was adorable and wholesome and all but it didn't really explain the story or it wasn't very long. I think there will be a future update for Hello neighbor 2 where u unlock the true ending. Or there might be... a hello Neighbor 3.
The ending is very touching, but why make everything more incomprehensible, and add more, for example, where is Beatrix ?, who is the Guest? Why are there no normal people in the city? who hit us at the end and with what? we don't know, we're just guessing
We don't know the history of the main characters in Hello Neighbor. Why does Quentin have phobias?, where is Beatrix and what is her eye patch? Who is Nikky's parents.
We also don’t know who the man in the hat and glasses is, well, I think he eliminates the detectives so that they don’t tell the truth, why did everything turn out like this?, what happened to the world of Hello Neighbor? after the first part?, where is Nikky? , why beatrix after the shot just leaves calm, what would happen if Quentin shot at the Guest
Nicky's backstory have already been explained because the entire first game surrounds him and his time with the Neighbour, from childhood to adulthood. Guessing is the point. It's all a mystery and you're supposed to figure it out. Why do you think they always pester Matpat on Twitter about the series? I believe that it has already been stated that HG and other variants of it were just prototypes and alphas. A lot could change over time in production, may those changes be big and/or small, and in this case, A LOT has been changed. So you could just forget about Beatrix and the weird detective-looking guy (hat and glasses man). The crow is still around. He was at the opening cutscene, and there's a heavy cultish fixation on people like him in this supposed 'Act 1' so there's a large chance that we may be seeing him again soon, especially since at the very end of this, the devs have specified that more big updates were to come.
I think they plan on releasing story updates. They should have called this Chapter 1, or had at the end of the credits/etc a 'Chapter1 End' with a note about future updates to be added, instead of just mentioning it on their discord
To be honest the ending was sweet and weird because when the neighbor got hurt terrible, his son Aaron felt really bad, mr.peterson and Aaron both did the wrong thing, Aaron pushed off his daughter from a cliff, and Mr Peterson almost lost his son by locking him in his basement for bout' 2 or 1 year, and when Aaron looked at his fathers eyes he sees love in his eyes to his father, and Aaron comes to help his fathers hands, but recently they hugged each other, it's sweet and reminds people of father and son, and that reminds people that mr peterson is just a single father without his wife and daughter but only him and hes son, and that feels like the neighbor doesn't wanna hurt his son like how he tried locking him in his basement, later in the weird part, we see a shadow man from Hello neighbor alpha 2 or a forest protector stabbing or hitting Quentin with a knife or something else and Quentins knocked out, later the scene fades, and we see Aaron helping his father take off the dragon light thing that fell onto his back, while that happens Quentin gets dragged by the person he got hit by, but we don't know what happens next if there is any continue for the cutscene, probably Aaron and Mr Peterson will try to save him, or there is gonna be a continue of the game and you'll be somewhere and try to escape something like a forest or like a abounded place or other stuff will happen, that's what i can only explain.
Sorry to break it to ya but look on mr peterson face at the end shows us that this was plan and he will probably lock up his son again when we talk about Quentin im not sure
The only family member left was Aaron and Theodore didn't want lose him too, it would be too much hard to him. Also, the ending was interesting. Aaron, even though he accidentally managed to kill Mya in the end, he didn't want to lose his father too. Let's hope that Hello Neighbor Cartoon series and upcoming continue of the story will tell us more.

They where on the top of the house playing hide and seek in they’re imagination that place was like a jungle and when the boy found the girl he pushes her and shouts “I found you! Now you’re it”, but he doesn’t notice that she’s on the tip of the roof and when he does, he tries to pull her up but fails. Just seconds later hello neighbor comes running when she’s falling. As a punishment, he locks the son in the basement because he didn’t want him to die either or like for killing his sister. And now, the son wanted to rescue his father:(
This can't be a full game right? There was no guest, 90% of the cutscenes were Quentin having a bad trip, it ended like it was an alpha version, dissapointing.
