Just discovered the channel today, but this guy is my new favourite food reviewer in Sydney. The enthusiasm, the brutal honesty, the range of cuisine, the appreciation of good value. (The bit about the $2 can of Coke, that's so true!) Hope the channel keeps on growing. All the best.
spanian has already come SOOOO far, just look up "spanian songs" and the songs hes made will give you a quick glimpse into what he once was. gotta love the lad
Spanian you have really seriously matured mate i can really see it i know you hadnt had much life experience on the outside much of your life beside the last few years but to see u out and about killing life making stacks of money having your own podcast and vlogging food reveiws im happy for u man you finally get to live life and enjoy being a human bro yo only live once dont stop being you bro i wish to have your confidence one day
This bloke has come so far I remember when he started the videos and spanian was in the ally and he told the guy to"F off can't you see I'm filming here" lol he is way more comfortable in public on camera now.
Man this one kills me, Burwood used to have one of the best in Sydney, but it's gone now. Marrickville still killing it with their rolls makes me happy.
The Vietnamese bakery at Top Ryde shopping centre next to Woolworths. I’ve never seen a queue shorter than 25 metres for the past 2 years. Fantastic prices. Amazing variety including slow cooked bbq pork and lemon grass beef. Seriously, no better tasting pork rolls and no better value for money.
Gotta have a part 2 with Top Ryde Baker's House + Lim's Hot Bread Eastwood. They don't get the same attention as places south of the harbor but they deserve it!
This happens every time you click on a new spanian video. You haven't even watched it yet but you like it straight away coz you KNOW its gonna be a cracker.
In my Viet pork roll adventures, Xcel roll in Parramatta is the best I've found. Their roast pork with crackling and satay chicken thigh rolls are unbelievable. I tried the Coogee store once and it's not nearly as good as Parramatta. But ideally you have to go midday when it's busy and they're constantly restocking and everything's fresh.
I swear I was craving a pork roll just yesterday! The last time I ate one was 2 years ago at hurstville & got food poisoning. But now I’m ready to eat one again this video Def helps to where I will get my next one 😊 Thanks
What is it with this city and food poisoning I've gotten it twice in the space of 3 weeks apart.. never before in any other place gotten food poisoning from a licenced shop before
Someone needs to tell that Marrickville joint about the Spanian effect because they are about to make more pork rolls than an avalanche at a pig farm, solid review as always 💪
I’m so proud of Spanian and how has he has got his life back on track. It would not be easy to come from a life that was his past, the drug abuse, street crime, assaults and Centrelink.
Great review brother..loving your videos.. keeping it real I must say the roast pork rolls at Rhodes shopping centre would win easily with crackling pork. It's called Tom's carvery .. attached to the butcher near Coles.. you won't regret it .. keep up the amazing work..
Spanian bro I live for this content! You are the most uplifting and humanising person on the web, every time I see a new upload I am excited and grateful. You’re a legend!! 👍👍 Never ever stop
Wow, your Vietnamese Pork Roll review was the best! I loved your honesty - you tell it like it is, which is refreshing. Fun writing style too, keep up the cheekiness and humour! Totally agree with your review about Hong Ha being bland. Maybe it appeals more to non-Vietnamese customers? LoL By the way, there are actually some better bakeries on Hughes St. in Cabramatta. Bankstown is another suburb with lots of Vietnamese people and good pork rolls.
The old Marrickville pork roll shop is still there...it is just next door, now a juice bar. And Marrickville wins all day long. Most consistent quality.
@@TottenhamRanger nah top Ryde is close, top 5, but not as good as marrickville. I reckon. Cabramatta has a close second at KKs, but then marrickville has Alex’s too
Pizza is shit. Who cares. You can literally get sydney's best pizza at a dominos depending on which pimple faced motherfucker is rostered on, on that particular night
How did he not go to Top Ryde Bakehouse!Their BBQ pork roll is off tap. Meat is so tender and juicy and a great price. Everyone knows how good it is and how famous they are for their massive long lines. Once got talking to someone behind me and they come from Gosford every Sunday for a pork roll. Timed the line once and it was an hour n 45min 😅
Hong Hao is using the tactic of "building a lineup". First made popular by empty nightclubs that created big lineups. When actually busy, they will serve faster.
Vietnamese food is hectic! Gotta check out the best Viet foods like Pho, Com tam (pork chop and rice) and bun bo hue (spicy noodle soup). Cabras the place to be for all of them
judge freshness of bread(NOOO the original crunchy banh mi is the best. the soft buns are too similar to stale, soft bread and you can test that out. LET me tell you amazing youtuber, the "Mayonnaise" is actually Vietnamese butter :)
Kings bread in Hurstville hands down. 6 lines all out the door. Been a while, not sure if they are still there. Used to get 3 rolls each time I went there.
This dude is a madman, swearing like fuck about coriander in broad daylight. Can't beat it bro. Nothing better than someone being themselves. Spanian is an Inspiration what a guy 🤣
When you were in Cabra, the shop next door is gun. It's open until like midnight and does the best rice paper rolls and fruit shakes...There's alot of stuff I don't know what it is but the place is super popular...Oh and they do like a mangoe/guava/pineapple and chilli mix that is super refreshing especially with a sugar cane juice...
You got me going back bro, i grew up in Mascot and me and my mate always use to scab some money when we could for some pork rolls. Now im in shitty NZ cant wait to go back! Too good brotha Span
I was waiting for you to complain about the crunchy rolls cutting the crap out of the roof of your mouth at Hong Ha but you already knew to squash it down and break it up. Well done 🤝

So they finally got into the new shop in Marrickville. I remember the hole in the wall. My first Pork Roll was possibly the best. They were advertising the move when I was eating there and there is nothing like seeing the place your'e eating at in the Sydney news paper as the place to go for a Pork Roll. They deserve the rep in that shop
Marrickville pork roll in haymarket is tops too, there's a secret one out at jordan springs shopping centre, best one I've ever had. Loads you up on everything snd I love when the reddish soaks up the soy sauce
When I arrived in Australia first place I stayed was Marrickville...a 2 min walk from that pork roll place. First Aussie takeout was these pork rolls my 2nd day in Oz.
