    здраво Магдалена ! I am french and i try to learn a little bit of serbian, my father language, and I thank you a lot for your work clear and fantastic !
    I was happy to use this rule BUT i’m afraid it does not apply to the verb « to understand » : Razume => razumeyu
    Can you explain me the reason why please ? Are there some other verbs like this one ?

    • @blancheperic2055
      @blancheperic2055 2 года назад

      And I think it is the same for Uzmeti ? Maybe the rule is a bit different with the verbs with -me ?
      uzme => uzmeju
      razume => razumeju
      ? Am I right ?

      @@blancheperic2055 Dobar dan, Blanche :) Thank you for your comment.
      The verb "uzeti" goes to: ja uzmem, oni uzmu - that's different
      The verbs you mention are umeti, razumeti, smeti --> oni umeju, razumeju, smeju, and others developed from them.
      If you look at how these verbs look in ijekavian, you will see that they conform to the same rule:
      umjeti - umijem - umiju
      smjeti - smijem - smiju
      The way we changed "jat" in ekavian led to this difference:
      umeti - umem - umeju
      smeti - smem - smeju.
      That's why these verbs look like a combination of -e and -a- verbs. :)
      By the way, everything's explained in our courses at Serbonika.com :)
      Best regards,
      Magdalena
