It’s not a bad idea to clear left as far as you can before then going back right and moving towards the corrupted fountain. You can stop in the base on the way over to heal up. For the sake of time, I go right immediately but regen becomes a major concern with only one Priest. Getting our ultimates makes a big difference.
One thing I did not utilize is Raise Dead as the Skeletons can tank and absorb damage that then does not need healed. Be wary of the Infernal Machine in the upper left - it drops a +6 strength item, but also spawns an Infernal on you.
The boss fight is not nearly as frantic as Rahandir. Still though, treat your extra units the same way in that you can assume they will die to some incomprehensible burst damage at some point and at least try to maximize your spellcasters’ value before that happens. Unholy Frenzy, Cripple, Inner Fire, and Firebolt. Kill the first portals right away. You can choose to burn the boss and ignore the second ones, but be judicious about that. It generally doesn’t hurt to just wipe them even when Margazar is at low health.
I put all tomes on Gardon since he is usable in many later missions as the campaign progresses. No need to burden him with too many items from Blen though as Gardon gets plenty of opportunities to gear up when he is playable in Act 5. While Blen won’t be with us much longer, he is usable on a difficult mission in Act 4 and we don’t want to weaken him by offloading items at this point.
