Buckets are an integral part of the leaky pipe management system... the drips collect in the buckets buckets and evaporate over time. This stops the drips spoiling the ceiling. The problem is if the evaporation rate is slower than the drip rate...

Open ceiling return plenum. You see that alot in commercial buildings to reduce return duct static and reduce costs. The flip side is you breathe whatevers up there.

glad to know I am not the only one that checks filters in my hotel rooms. There have been at least a half a dozen times that I have rinsed the filters off in the bath or sink.

I'm an HVAC tech and virtually every time I go to a hotel or Airbnb I check the filter and clean them if possible...definitely a good practice to implement.

This is why I love my camper.
Its mine, any crud in there is my fault, my problem, and my own family’s gross instead of everyone who’s been in the room since it was built and the filter forgotten about
