There's a lot of people in the community making their own total conversions. I don't know if you play Pathfinder RPG but I'm 8 months and a hundred pages deep into making my own total conversion. I probably won't release it for at least another half year but there's some cool stuff out there! :D

@@anikisnek5497 Hey man, I’m writing my total conversion for Pathfinder RPG 1E which is an offshoot of Dungeons and Dragons 3.5E!
Currently I’m pretty close to having a pre-release version ready. Some things I’ve been working on include Major and Minor Faction Races, new ways to advance characters based on their race(more arms for Necrophages), a weapon and armor system that converts the stats from Endless Legend(courtesy of the wiki) into “upgrades” to the weapons from Pathfinder, Pearl equipment, a basic timeframe with regards to Endless Legend and tons of more stuff 😅
I’m also working on system/setting agnostic mechanics such as a historically inspired economy, combat tweaks for Pathfinder
I’ll definitely be releasing everything I write for free when it’s done. I expect my pre-release edition to be complete by the end of the year at which point I’ll be play testing it through a complete story arc with my friends before making any changes I see as necessary to get it to a satisfactory “version 1.0 stage”
I’ll be posting it on the Endless Legend Subreddit so you can expect to see it there at either the end of this year or next year!
As I said in the original reply to this comment, there are at least a couple other peeps who have tackled Amplitude’s incredible setting so they may help you out inspiration-wise if you’re wanting to get into it earlier haha, I recommend u/Morlugon ‘s document

This is a killer comment. Though seriously, CAN THEY STOP HAVING ESPOINAGE AS A DLC! Or anything mechanics wise for that matter. They aren't as bad as Paradox when it comes to overwhelming dlc(I love stellaris by the way), but I am OK for extra factions to be dlc, because that is understandable to me. Atleast the OSTs don't cost much?
@@liamclifforth7046 honestly, I think that amplitude is actually good with how much content is in their DLCs, although they are a bit expensive. (Get all DLC if at half price or more) excluding the most recent dlcs in their games, mykara (el) and Awakening (es2) which aren’t the best.

I hope this expansion does more than just introduce the stealth mechanic and a new faction, theres a lot of work the base game needs.

They haven't done any thing with the oceans, winter mechanic is still pretty boring, era IV tech is just more of the same and could be replaced with more interesting stuff, the constant desync while in multiplayer. thats just stuff of the top of my head.

I agree that they seem to be lacking the charisma of existing major factions. They feel a bit out of place judging soley on this trailer. That being said, I love the game, just started playing again a couple of days ago, and this news is wonderful. Need to also buy endless dungeon already!

Anthony Rivera what with Endless Space 2 in development I'd imagine their creative and productive faculties are somewhere else at the moment.
DaveTehDinosawr Well yeah, NOW I know that. Also a youtuber who's name I can't even write (Pancazsu?) who has some inside knowledge (I think he is a tester) said that the expansion itself is quite freaking amazing. So yeah, color me intrigued.

Nebelkorona Indeed. When the cataclysm happens, Auriga gets turned barren entirely. But there are little blips before that, and the Forgotten survived in one of these blips.

I'd like them to be less worried with posing to photos and grinning. Too "boy-bandish" to me, aesthetically speaking. I guess this is the faction aimed at the teen audience.
+Matheus Moreira Psh, you're just saying that because of 0:28 guy's hair. If this was about appealing to the weeaboo teen audience, their figurehead leader sure as hell wouldn't be a bald guy with a beard.
Man, they're posers and you know it, and the kids will love them, specially the "mom, where's my dark shirt and makeup" kind of kids.
I like their designs, it's a sort of nordic dark elf with some nuance. A "darker" character isn't inherently teen-angst pandered. Their just dark-elf bandits. I've seen some shitty edgelord designs, these dude's ain't it. The concept art team behind Endless Legend knows how to make something dark without making it a goth thing.
I like Endless' art a lot in general, Amplitude is one of the best gaming studios nowadays regarding concept art. BUT they tend heavily to "beautification" and "posing". Human-like characters are usually tall, thin/strong, kinda sexy and depicted in a "bad-ass" way in their games. I'm more into "realistic" depictions. But who knows, maybe the percentage of beautiful bad-ass people is very high in Auriga.

I'm always in favor of stealth and espionage whenever I play strategy games, I like to use finesse rather than brute force, I like the feeling of struggling to make strategies that doesn't involve numerical superiority

What would be cool and seafearing or strong at rivers lakes faction based on one of the 3 races that later became the Endless , the multilimped mermen, The Eur.
Pretty interesting, in their way. They don't use or generate Science, so instead they buy their Tech directly by using Dust. Most intriguing.

Dorin Velovar I agree after some really original factions like the Cultist,Broken Lords, Necropahges they add another human faction..... is just lazy. this is like Elves(vaulters) Dark Elves(Evil vaulters)

+Anthony Rivera Non human factions have kind of been more the exception in this game rather than the rule. Plus, the Necrophage are just the zerg, (with a nod to the undead from WC3) and the cultists weren't even thought up by the dev team.
I like them, I feel your grievances are negligible.
