I buy 22 years ago a new black TL1000R. By now she run 7800 km and only one defect was happend. Here in Germany i pay 300 Euro for repair. Yesterday i ride this original bike again and it feels absolutly perfect. You can drive slow with big sound. Or you drive fast and feel the power. I love it !!
Very nicely done, I have a TLR also which is a bit closer to standard than yours and I too can't see myself selling it. Its my 8th bike and im completely in love. Not the scarey monster they're made out to be, just a big cuddly teddy bear. A really, really fast teddy bear.
Your right by todays standard of bike but never the less can still hang with the big boys in the right hands lol 🤣😂 a true classic just love it ! Thanks for your comment buddy 👍🏻
Thankyou buddy didnt want to stray to much from the original machine hence what I think are performance upgrades to the bike making an even better ride !! Thanks for your comment buddy ride safe on that K3👍🏻
A stunning example of a TLR. Tastfule changes that onky improve the bike. I have a '98 S amd a K5 gsxr1000 feont end to fit over winter. Uncut tail and I'm after standard indicators
Nicely done 👍 some info if you like. The quickshifter might start damaging your gearbox. Mine started going in between 3rd&4th gear. Also I would recommend change your thermostat mine was stuck closed overheating. Also if it starts running rough check the killswitch it's a dodgy connection.

Beautiful bike mate. I have recently purchased a 1999 TLR, & it’s going nowhere.. the TL and my H2 ZXR will be the last 2 bikes I’d ever sell! 👍🏼

thanks for the tips! Will keep a close eye on things👍
Does it feel really slow compared to the busa or does it make up for top end with torque?
No, not at all . As you say, the torque makes up for lack of top end compared to busa, but she is still not slow with a 170mph top end ish 😜
I can not hear a thing
