- Here's an "unboxing" of Toy Story - The Ultimate Toy Box on DVD. This is a collection that includes Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and a third disc filled with bonus features. This was actually not a proper unboxing because this was a reseal of this set which was pre-owned, but it's in very good used condition.

I Heard That If You Had The Ultimate Toy Box DVD Collection From 2000, When You Play Toy Story 2 Instead Of A Normal Movie, It Has Profanity On It, About 45 Minutes Of The Film It Switches To R-Rated Movie "High Fidelity" After About 3 Or 4 Minutes It Switches Back To Toy Story 2 Again, Which Is The Lost Media Error For Toy Story 2 DVD.
I like what you did there with the word "unboxing."
Considering that *_Toy Story 2_* was released on VHS and DVD on Tuesday, October 17th, 2000, this was definitely released on that day as well.
Nice unboxing video and I really love all of the Toy Story films too! My most favorite Toy Story movies though are both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 although I also really like Toy Story 3 as well.
I have that rarity as part of that huge Disney ultimate collectors edition DVD box set. I got it for Christmas back in 2021.
Oh my gosh that's the version of the toy story 2 DVD that has John Hughes swearing in High fidelity
The side is empty because you have the sleeve on the wrong way.
You can see the Toy Story logo on the side where all the dvd cases are instead of the empty silver side.
Also you can see an outline of Jessie on the box which matches the back of the slip cover

The clear “plexiglass” slipcover for the box set was on backwards. There are white drawings on the box set itself that match the characters on the slipcover.

My only question with that is why does Disney/Pixar whatever have access to High Fidelity despite that movie being made by Touchstone Pictures?

@@christianthethomasandfrien8257 It was a manufacturing error. Parents complained about it when this DVD set first came out, they all began to blame a DVD pressing plant, Nimbus America which was owned by Michael P. Green's Carlton Communications at that time.

I heard from this Boxset that there's an error in Toy Story 2 where they said a foul language word.
Supposedly only 1,000 copies of the box set contain the foul language error making it extremely rare if that's the case.
I doubt my copy had the error.

Fact: Someone bought this and while their kids were watching Toy Story 2, a scene from the 2000 film High Fidelity was accidentally in it and there was some swearing during that scene

Toy Story is my favorite Disney movie and one of my Top 10 favorite movies.
I have the first 3 on DVD already, but if it were cheap I'd probably get that.
Fun Fact: Apparently some copies of Toy Story 2 in that set are interrupted with clips of High Infidelity with some profanity. LOL.

I have this DVD set, mine is a much earlier pressing where the inner ring of the disc says 'TECHNICOLOR/CA'.
Buena Vista must’ve ditched Technicolor after the High Fidelity error and the realization that DVDs were profitable enough to be manufactured in-house.
@@S-Video Technicolor Wales did press DVDs for Disney in the UK & Ireland until 2007.
A lot of the bonus materials were ported to later releases, but the way they are presented in this set is overall superior in my eyes.
One thing that they don't have which I wish they did Was the 1995 cgi logo they got rid of it. And replaced it with their new we're one which I don't like. So no one can watch it in 4k

Yeah. On the Toy Story 2 DVD. It only is shown on the copies in Costco locations.
I like how The Ultimate Toy Box has a "Sound Effects Only" version of both films where the music and dialogue are both taken out, leaving only Gary Rydstrom's sound design.
Apparently the ultimate toy box edition were actually recalled due to a manufacturing defect on the Toy Story 2 disc, there's a chance you might have the defective copy of Toy Story 2
