I'd say that if you try to read the fall of Hyperion, it will help you to gather all the stories in one, and you will find some cool staff. The writing style is different, not told in tales. And there will be more surprises. But, if you didn't enjoy the story of the Hyperion, I wouldn't go for the next books.

I love Black Beauty. It is sad, but worth it.
