The R211 is a very unique from the other 3 NTT models. The bullet on the side those bring back the design of the SMEE models. The interior design is amazing specially the wider doors. The only thing I don’t like is the small windows and not having end seats. The colors designed from the inside is so bright. The led map signed are very similar to the R143 but more advanced. The announcement sign have larger front to read better which a great for people who can read from a distance. The led lights from the side door it’s great telling you when the doors open and close. Great video by the way keep up the good work 👍

The word is that they passed the 30-day test run successfully. More will be on the way!

Each new R211 trains would do test 30 day test runs to make sure they're safe and reliable, before they can be put into service.

Hi Dash. Nice video as always. What's your opinion on the R211? Do you like them? Do you think anything should be improved? What do you think?

Honestly, from the sides they're indistinguishable from the older cars at a quick glance. Since parts from these cars are incompatible with other cars due to the different dimensions, I'd say they could benefit from a more modern design. Maybe instead of the silver stainless steel finish on the outside, they could've used the blue material from the front to cover the window area and doors like older cars had.

@DashTransit nice opinion. I like how they brought back old features from the SMEE trains, mainly the bullets at the front. I dont understand why those features weren't used on the older NTT cars. Really like the R211 for having a decent livery or a livery as a whole. All of the trains are plain old gray. Those R160s with blue liveries are cool, and I wish all of them had it. One thing I dislike about the R211 is that all the cars don't have open gangways. It was marketed so heavily, and it is really helpful considering how busy the subway is. Hopefully, they don't make this mistake with the R262.
