Everyone born in British Columbia can achieve whatever they want. I'll love and support you.
Except for own real estate 😅😅
I honestly liked what little I saw of him. He was good with the puck, used the boards creatively and I could tell he wasn't out of place at all!
He’s going to be with Miller and Boeser tonight.
As a Pakistani Canadian in his 40's...born and raised in downtown Toronto......never thought I'd see another South Asian ice hockey player after Bawa!!! Khaira.....now Bains! Respect to these BC Punjabi kids for lighting it up! Even though I f'n hate the Canucks lol....had to watch Bains the other night against the Av's.......the kid is a beauty!!!
No worries. We hate Worst Case Ontario too. Toronto = Cleveland North.
Stop bringing race into this, pls
Thanks brother...appreciate your comment. It always means something extra when a Pakistani rates an Indian and vice-versa given the supposed 'rivalry'. I'm an Indian boxing fan and have high expectations of British Pakistani boxer Adam Azim...future star and world champion for sure!
@@user-yl8de1ru9p It's one love brother. Things like this should make the whole south Asian community proud!
@@samboom9262 Perfectly said brother...God Bless!
Hometown boy..What a dream come true!!!
@@Seanstricklandforprimemister There's no need to keep telling everyone what you wish Strickland would do to you.
He's not Canadian. Remember that
@@LincolnJamesHeathrowIII ... i mean he definitely is Canadian, he grew up in surrey did you not watch the video?
@@robyngiesbrecht5206 I saw the video. But as far as I know. Canadians are not from the country wit a turban on their head
@@LincolnJamesHeathrowIII Bruh you think you are the arbiter of who is Canadian but you can barely type coherent English 🤦♂️
Great to see a local guy being in the nhl here hope he stays around on the team.
That’s so awesome!
I’m a huge fan of the nucks’ and as a punjabi, it makes me proud to see a fellow punjabi join my favourite team!💙💚
Same
He had a great debut. Very bright future ahead of him, great choice by the Canucks, he played very well with the Red Deer Rebels.
Impressive...Keep on Truckin'
I'm glad they mentioned he is British Columbian, Punjabi
He learned to play at the Taj Mahovlich with Paul Hinduson. Relax, it's just a joke. Hope he does well
🔥
Arshdeep in the feels.
South Asian Pride!
You want to stop racism so why can’t we just be proud for the individual instead of his race. We are all humans no matter the race. I’m excited for him as he is playing for his hometown team. I was always taught religion and politics stay at home. So let’s be happy for him and proud of the person that he is!! 💚💚💚🇨🇦🤛🏽
exactly, why is that CBC is pointing out who are the players. As long as born in Cdn they are all Cdn-ians
Idk it’s just cool to see someone from your community make the nhl there’s nothing racist about pointing out and acknowledging races
I mean i grew up with a lot of Punjabi kids in the 80s and there was racism, even in our minor hockey teams, so its nice to see someone from that community over come all that and rise up.
@@Andreww1992 yes agree as I played with some in football and hockey. It’s truly amazing but if we always point it out and make it something instead of just being an athlete or a person it was always be an issue!! I’m happy for whoever makes in any sport or job!!
@@rossmontreal4570 That is true! We are all Canadians first.
W
that means the next season there will be a dozen of Punjabis as the Canucks players
😂😂😂😂😂
He sucks big time don't kno y they would put him on
They got rid of Ethan Bear. And Mr arse cried, and the Punjab community help fund him in there. I mean, WHY else would a nhl coach talk so happy about a student of the game he's never coached?.. I won't attend Vancouver game while assman is in there..
How he sucks exactly? People are liking his skills
Someones a little jelly lol stop being butt hurt bud. Get a life.
@Andrew-np1id he sucks.. get use to it.
Arse deep pains.
How many NHL games have you played in?
@@xylo5750 I didn't have a mom and dad paying for everything, I was working and paying rent at 15. Maybe he will be better next game, canucks are just targeting more season ticket buyers. He looks slow and doesn't have soft hands. Tyler Myers is better goalscorer and puck handler.
@@yougoof That’s a lot of words to say zero.
@@yougoofas someone who knows his parents. His dad owns a diesel repair shop and he has 2 brothers 1 that works at the shop and 1 that runs a trucking company. His dad told to him to stay with Canucks even though he had better offers
@@bhavjotkang8004 I have no brothers, one sister. No dad and no mom. I could of been hockey player too if my family were multi millionaires. A piece of land is at least a million. Hockey has become too expensive for anyone else to play but the rich. You never see someone in the nhl that didn't come a well off family.
He's so hot is he single
I'm glad they mentioned he is British Columbian, Punjabi
