This weapon has around a 50 ar difference between faith and str build at meta for those wondering, the damage is subpar unless you have heavy stats investment. It has high damage compared to other fists when you have 99 in STR DEX FTH and INT
@@Jeenine @@Jeenine it's the nicest, most gentlemanly way to apply 55 madness, at any level, especially if you already have a 130 dex build that has JUST enough faith to run vykes
Tbh it doesn’t need the damage. It has the same heavy’s as the star fist and the ashe procs madness insntsntly. It will often madness them out of skills and such. Any more damage and all anyone would use is this. If the ashe hits multiple people they all get the madness
Basically Ashe, heavy heavy win.

Its nice to know that even players as good as you and steel struggle against these cancer ganksquads. It honestly makes me feel alot better because some squads just feels impossible to beat and i always wonder if im just unskilled or i literally cannot win regardless of skill.
If they removed blues, it would fix a lot of issues with invasions. Ganks don't need blues, lmao.
I struggle with that every time I hop on elden ring. The duality of the game I guess

I'd say the only reason it feels hard is the L2 and spell spam mindlessly all the time. That and the damage and combat speed has increased drastically compared to previous games.
Fun fact, if the opponent is inflected by madness, this weapon gains a really powerful true combo. Charged R2/ Normal R2 combos into another R2 whenever they are in that madness animation.
With the new frenzy talisman + the weapon itself having a similar effect and a axe talisman, it can one shot most players
They can be inflected by madness from any source (doesn’t have to be from the weapon) to have the combo activated. Just use the new frenzy torch and it can be gg

any type 1 or type 2 hitstun will combo vs a slept or madness afflicted opponent, regardless of weapon, type 3 hitstun will knockdown
@@Jeenine true, it’s just the weapon itself buffs your attack when you proc madness, making this combo even stronger. Landing the ash of war straight up one shot co opers because of the combo but obviously requires set up without being interrupted

What he said at the end is true. They designed Invaders to be very difficult enemies(akin to a boss in some cases) that are to be defeated probably 70% of the time
In a situation like that he was in at the very end, you pretty much are not supposed to win as the invader, but at the same time we want to play the game like it's a proper PVP game where we can win. It's kind of an annoying catch-22
I think it was a total mistake to not have six player worlds and to not have invasions possible on rune Arc usage

I’ve been using them as a secondary in invasions with vyke spear or any other heavy weapon. For chase downs and applying madness for hosts who want to run. The Ashe will stun people out of ashes. It’s actually a very good weapon. Have been invading with it since realease of the dlc. Some people just need something to complain about.

These aren't super crazy, but as far as taking them as far as possible, the ash of war is pretty powerful, it's basically insta madness on most opponents. It's slow, which is honestly a good thing in the end tbh. There are just some things that shouldn't really be good in ER with their current fundamental designs, madness and sleep being one of them.
Is jeanine still playing 125 ? Ive veen trying to get into competitive and I can't decide If staying at 125 is the right choice or if i should go to 150

For duels do 125, invasions are really whatever, though I prefer 60 and 150.

It indeed does not have crazy hyper armor. You got a ton of poise it has zero hyper armor I've been knocked out of it by curved swords, you experienced poise not hyper armor.

Ive been using these for the last week they are amazing ive been able to one shot dozens of players also ran with endure and the frenzied grab its been a blast youve sadly just been using the hands wrong. You can endure trade with its weapon art get an insta madness on 99% of people and then charge heavy the amount of kills ive got doing exactly that with fist AoW or the grab, has probably been peak invasions for me personally im a madness lover tho 😂
I am 230 on my current character he started as a pure pve character but I couldn't help myself from doing invasions. I normally with the right buffs get around 1900 damage from AoW into charged heavy. If I used the howl buff I think I'd one shot any build.

Youcan use weaksause AOE incant with 20 faith that staggers the enemy as they attempt to roll through, opening the possibility to use the skill aow as they roll through

Been running maddnes hand with the faith/sorcery catalyst using Miriam vanishing into inescapable frenzy but there's a damage glitch where you land the grab but get no damage after the Miriam's into inescapable frenzy and few other spells are not working either

What??, even the raksasha 1h hyperarmor is given to other weapons???
@@Jeeninewould you even need to be able to use the katana? Putting it in offhand slot for its passive HA boosting effect isn’t hindered by whether you have the stats for it, right?
@@Jeenine idk about that one ,i have a level 60 build that can do that with the help of a few talismans. Just had to suffer actually playing dlc at level 60 to do so.
@@_Ethereal420 if youre lvl 60, you just need minimal stats requirements for the weapons you want to use and dump all the rest into vigor, im sure you can make it work at that lvl for this reason, but that will not make sense to do so at meta. Even at low lvl you spreading yourself thin if you have madding hand and rakshasa at the same time. You could have much better fists or great kat damage with proper stats spread.
