It's funny that despite the meme, if you asked me I would say that they are the most sincere idols that exist, even though the whole concept is around acting a character, there is a lot of their real personalities in each one, unlike common idols who present themselves irl, but acting 110% of the time, and in many aspects they are better than conventional idols, like with the constant lives they are much closer to the fans than conventional idols have ever been, and speaking of musical talent, even though they shouldn't nothing like idols, most of them are even above average in this regard. The Miko Raft Clip is what brought me into Hololive, i saw it on Twitter, wanted to more and Miko was Live at this point. So i checked the Stream, i found her Voice really cute, i then checked for more and found miko and korone clip and at that Point Korone made me stay in Holo.
Aki used to host Ark servers for her community. Of course it is JP hosted and 99% of the people in there spoke in JP, but Aki was one of the few members you could play with directly and such.

you should watch aki rosenthal.. she keeps doing massive ark collabs with other agencies etc.. its on a server with proximity chat and the servers i believe is up for 2-4 weeks at a time before they reset it. and from my understanding, they rotate between ark and a few other games.. like gta, rust etc
6:02 I think others addressed it a lot, but to be clear, most people commonly take that as following the group structure that AKB48 has, rather than image. other idol groups may stick with only one group of girls for the long run. from our understanding, the similarity yagoo meant to aim for was how AKB48 adds to its members in adding new generations. usually with IRL idol groups, the older members may graduate for any variety of reasons, moving on to the next stage of their entertainment career (singing, acting, etc), or the next stage of their life (college, professional non-entertainment career, starting a family). with these factors being in the open for IRL idols, they have more pressure to leave. at least with cover, most of these things are private, so the talents in hololive don't have that pressure. but should they so seek other pursuits, a good company supports that change. we don't have a bigger picture for what they'll be doing in the next 10 to 20 years, but if cover does follow the structure of AKB48, and more talents graduate to pursue other things, they'll add more talents with new generations, and hololive and holostars both will continue.

Some old-school ones in the compilation. Really brings me back to times when it was all just starting to get big international. For me the best thing about HOLOLIVE was the shock factor it had on beginning, you were expecting stream from "IDOLS" whitch in japan are supposed to be some cute, holy and proper girls. I never understood the obsession with pineapple on pizza. Growing up I had heard that it was this strange thing and people wanted to know your stance on it. I honestly never got to try it until I was an adult and afterwards thought to myself “it’s aight but nothing special.” To this day, I still don’t understand why people care so much about it either way. I will say as someone who enjoys pineapple I would rather just eat it separately from the pizza as it tends to lose some of its potency and texture when baked on top of pizza.
