  • Quick and Easy Recipe for traditional turkish Shish Kebab - famously known as Adana Kebab.
    The orignal kebab recipe was intitate from Adana - Mersin region that is the reason behind the name. Delicious and juicy kebab has unique taste unlike every other sis or shish kebab of minced meat. Best served with nan bread, rice or potatoes with salad including onion parsely and other green salad.
    These kebabs are also known as Kıyma kebabı , Acılı kıyma kebabı or just adana kebabi
    Adana kebabs are usually medium to strong spicy. There is another mild spicy version of the same kebabs known as urfa kebab. The only change in the recipe would be mild chilies / flakes and chili powder.

    Recipe ingredients:
    Minced meat ( preferablymix of lamb and beef with extra fat)
    Mild Green chilies they are also known as Turkish Chili in some parts of the world
    Fresh Garlic
    Spring Onion
    Bell Pepper
    Chili Flakes
    Red Chili Powder
    Salt
    Olive Oil - Only if the meat is less fatty or if you dont add extra fat.
