So excited to see my old roommate from rookie ball is a coach with my hometown Orioles; Dave Schmidt (we were Rangers and his slider was nasty! Pete O'Brien also shared our place in Fla). Congrats to them both on their careers.
I;m a Mets fan but that 89 Oriole team is one of my all time favorites because that team proved even though they did not win the pennant that any year anything is possible
Craig was doing the same things in '81 and '82 for our high school team. When he was traded to the Rangers, I went to go see him at Anaheim Stadium only to discover he was optioned in the local paper, and never had the opportunity to see him live, but thanks for sharing this clip. Regards, Steve.
I liked how the Scoreboard was made to look like the old Memorial Stadium Scoreboard. Brought back many memories of attending Orioles/Baysox Baseball Games and Stallions/Ravens Football games and practices at that stadium.
new PA that guy doesnt even look old enough to love guts like mike smith, stanley jefferson, mickey weston, mark thurmond, mark williamson, phil bradley, jeffballard, bob milacki, jamie quirk ...AND ALL THE OTHERS. I love the 1989 Orioles greater than any other club.thanks to my dad who got HTS that year, mel proctor, john lowensien, tom davis, thank you all. Eapecially randy milligan for being so kind, and kevin hickey. And brady, sorry i jumped in your car as a boy without asking at memorial stadium. I knew u werent mR. FINLEY, BUT thats what i Was told to say. I will never forget what u said back to me. Thank u for your honest resPoNse.thank u 1989 orioles roland hemond, eli jacobs, frank robinson. Radio jon joe and chuck. Ch 2 palmer and brooks jon miller. The orioles play on ch 2. But no better place than the castle that is Memorial Stadium, what a beautiful grand cathedral. You could see for miles from the upper deck. Highest point on the east side.
