Is taijiquan the only one that has pair performance? Like this one: ruclips.net/video/w6WHlYfcx_Q/видео.html Also does anyone know the song of that video I linked above? I bet it's from a movie. Would love to listen to the real version.
I really like the pairs idea too, but it doesn’t seem like they’re pushing on it. Then only other pairs they’ve tried is nanquan pairs: ruclips.net/video/VUZeEzwkWjA/видео.html There is also duilian (the choreographed sparring sets), but I’m guessing that’s not what you’re looking for. Also sorry, don’t know the music for that one unfortunately
@@bluehippofilms Yeah, I'm talking about the equivalent of team kata for karate. The Sparring would be the equivalent of bunkai, which they do right after the team kata part, all in one performance. Example: ruclips.net/video/W-Ejm78jJz4/видео.html
By the way, I think wushu is way more impressive. This is coming from a Karate guy. It's something a normal person simply can't do. This is why you can have 40 year old people winning Kata championship, but not with Wushu. I really hope Wushu will be in the Olympics in my lifetime.
@@MrDdz: Ah, they have experimented with group sets (jiti), in many different ways over the years. You can search for group sets in this channel. For example at the last WWC: ruclips.net/video/N2bRPGoY1h8/видео.html And in older China National Taolu Championships: ruclips.net/video/DR5DqiBt0qc/видео.html BTW, I have a ton of respect for karate practitioners and really all of the different martial arts. When you get really deep into them, you find people can do really amazing things
@@bluehippofilms Wow. That first link is star-studded. That second link has the same pair in the video I linked earlier. Ok I need to binge watch this channel.
Damn. My knees hurt just looking at those landings.
