Mount is working as expected but Host/Bind Volume isn't working. When I create a file in container and check in the host machine, the file is not available.

Facing issue there like below PS C:\Windows\system32> docker volume ls DRIVER VOLUME NAME local 5bf92c6122380145106f20acf1c18958e36dd5564480f1282025075bc02e81ca local samplewebsitecontent PS C:\Windows\system32> docker run -it -p 8080:80 -v samplewebsitecontent:c:\test nginx docker: Error response from daemon: invalid mode: \test. See 'docker run --help'.
docker daemon running la iruka confirm panikonga... then your target mount is not correct... c:\test ithu windows format. unga nginx la mount point /data/test inthamaari format kuduthu try panunga.
@@SELVATechITOps do we need to map all volumes to linux path ? What if I want to map a windows path to a webapp which will store uploaded file in local windows host.... Can you please explain this scenario for both windows and Linux host
--mount will help you to mount any type of volumes even local host dir, network filesystems. -v will support only local host filesystem dir. if you need more info, try this command. "man docker run", surely will give more idea. hope it helps...
