The bridge that costs 12p to use

The historic Warburton Bridge links Cheshire and Greater Manchester. It's unique as it's a toll bridge and it's got a historic price too - 12p. But now the owner is seeking to increase it to £1. It says it needs to do this to pay for works on the bridge, but locals are concerned.

Drove over it yesterday for the first time ever. On my way back i said to the kid on the desk get it painted it looks awful, gave him a quid and said, I expect it done next time I come! 😂
