Allergy season is upon us once again. And if it seems like your allergies are getting worse year after year, it’s not just your imagination.
Pollen is a fine powder produced as part of the sexual reproductive cycle of many varieties of plants. As climate change warms the planet, pollen production is ramping up. And that’s becoming a problem, whether you suffer from seasonal allergies - or not.

so what you're saying is that the plants are the ones in charge, and have been using pollen as a mind control device to make us act irrationally, create insane levels of CO2 emissions, poison the world for ourselves and other animals, all in a bid to retake the planet from us? The Earth has many systems keeping things in balance. I wouldn't say this is an overall positive for plants. It is more complicated than that. For instance, early growers and tougher weeds get an advantage over crops. And cold climate plants and evergreens will suffer too.

There is nothing good about this. Asthma rates will go up, Anaphylaxis rates will go up, and keep in mind, we have an unsustainable agricultural method, and those plants won't be around for long if we keep building, and reproducing, unless we find alternative ways that are sustainable, which unfortunately, won't happen anytime soon. You lack critical thinking skills, with CO2 levels rising, it can also impair humans cognition, which you're a prime example of. Either that, or your school lacked the funding to adequately teach you.
