I had to refuse to pay rent for 3 months to get my landlord to call a plumber, because he ignored all my calls and messages telling him the toilet wasn't working. It wasn't until he threatened to sue me and I pointed out my rental contract included a working toilet, so he was actually in violation of the contract first, that he even tried to get it fixed. I don't know what fantasy world those 2 live in that landlords are "on call 24/7."

The landlord wasn’t joking-his point didn’t have any humor in it. Tips are ONLY for compensating a worker whose labor you benefit from directly. This isn’t the arrangement with a landlord unless they decide to repair something themselves and pay themselves from the fees that are already included in the cost of the rent. If the landlord didn’t factor those costs in, that’s not the renter’s fault.

My landlord likes to use us as free maintenance. A few weeks ago, my neighbors locked themselves out of their apartment and he called us asking us if we could pick the lock so they can get in. Uh no. Gave the two a ladder and made them climb their way up and break into their own place. The neighbors blew their fuse. He called us asking us to go to the electrical room in the basement to turn it back on. He hired someone to mow the lawn last summer and we ended up having to pay him because dear landlord wasn't available. The last two times my neighbors flooded my bathroom, he couldn't come. When the basement was flooding because the water heater had a leak, he asked me to keep mopping up water until he could send someone out 2 days later. He definitely doesn't deserve a tip. You already get paid rent each month. Foh.For. I'm sorry. I just noticed the dick and balls tomatoes and I can't unsee it now
That disgusting new tip method is beyond invasive! I recently went to a sandwich shop and when I ordered, she told me, “take a look at the screen and answer some questions if u want to leave a tip” I was like F-that! Wat did she do for me? … her damn job. That’s wat they’re paid for, to take orders… give u ur food. That was the last straw and it gave me the guts I needed for being to nice that now I never tip anymore unless I’m at a diner or someone waits on me. But tipping a cashier. Jamba Juice., subway, McDonald’s, ect… no! And all of u reading this please stop tipping. These companies just pocket most of it and keep pushing since we give in.

Frightening to think that woman has kids.
@@dannyfrog My theory is she used to be just a weird, goofy person. But then the taste of that sweet sweet internet "fame" got ahold of her and she went downhill fast. Now the millions of people watching her matter more than her own family and well-being.

In my opinion, filling a room or building with water and wrecking every appliance in it are basically the same thing since the water will wreck both the whole building and its electrical system. And maybe even wreck the electrical systems of neighboring structures if the electrical system of the Ground Zero building is damaged badly enough. (Now obviously I definitely could be wrong entirely since I don't know, or want to know, what WOULD happen in such a situation)

The ignorant part is that landlords definitely make more money than a waiter/waitress. Here in NY the minimum wage for a waiter/waitress is $7.25 an hour due to the fact that they receive tips, so they legitimately rely on those tips, a landlord charging $1,000 a month for rent and a 90% chance of being a slumlord and not wanting to fix anything, yeah the only tip they can get from me is to go play In traffic

@D Reye It's owned by a Chinese company which makes it owned by the Chinese government. But there is "Western" Tik Tok and Chinese Tik Tok. Both owned by the Chinese government but vastly diffrent to cater to us.
@@vespiutin3008 difference: Chinese tik tok is monitored so that if any dangerous or socially harmful trends start up, they're shut down before gaining traction. Besides, she also mentioned in that TikTok that was her family recipe (source: I speak Polish and that's exactly what she said). That is not even the weirdest Polish traditional dish.
Here’s the difference between landlords and restaurant servers: landlords get all the money you pay THEM! It’s their money. (Plus my landlord hasn’t fixed shit for five years…) restaurant serves (depending on where you live.) don’t get paid livable wages and need the tips to afford groceries, rent, phone bill, possibly even pets and kid’s expenses. I live with people who needed tips just to be able to pay half of those. One has a kid and 2 pets. Eventually they got a job that paid much better but they lived off of tips and bi-weekly paycheques
I mean, the landlord had to call a company to come out and do it and it's pretty hard to get emergency repairs fast. Getting done within a few hours is really good. I've been waiting on my community water to be fixed for 7 years now😂
My wife is completely addicted to tiktok. It's a bonkers Chinese spying app. The algorithm is extremely amazing and scary using the camera and microphone to recognize how much you react to videos in order to push more of those types of video to your feed.

funny enough, when I was homeless a lifetime ago, I had someone stop and kick me down a 20 because they wanted to chat about the book I was reading. That was it, though. 4:43 hey, my mother used to make these things for me and they actually taste really good, and i heard that it's normal in some places in eastern Europe, the person on the video speaks polish (i think?) So i think it's not weird at all
My upstairs neighbor flooded my house and I had to spend a good portion of 2022 out of the house. I couldn’t even have a vacation because we were spending thousands on repairs and renovations. We are still finding new area that needed to be renovated due to the spill.
4:40 the language is polish and it translates to: "In my childhood for family dinners there was often an appetizer from a few ingredients. We spread hot mashed potatoes on a wafer, put hot dogs on top and roll into a roulade [...], cut into smaller pieces, coat in eggs and fry until golden brown. Has anyone else tried it too?" I haven't heard of anyone who makes this in Poland, what even is this
2:34 yes cause they are providing a service and are barely getting paid u bought a house and rented it out and chances are you will no come fix anything until I make it a big deal and will probably come up with some bs excuse to keep my security deposit no matter what so yea
4:42 As a person who speaks in this language, I would tell you what it is. This is mash potatoes with butter and dill, with sausage (you can replace it with anything that you like, cheese for example), rolled in waffle (not sweet one), dipped in egg woth salt and pepper. You can also cover it with breadcrumbs. This is very good and I dare you to check it.
The hot dog wafer recipe vid is is Polish, basically she says that it's a dish her family would often eat at gatherings when she was young and explained the steps. I would also like to note that the type of sheet wafer she used usually has little to no flavour and usually just tastes like a piece of paper, so I doubt it would even be noticeable.
It's not like you're expected anywhere to actually tip at a coffee shop? Really? Cuz I always feel hella guilty if I don't tip at a coffee shop. Like yes, waiters, waitresses, and delivery people have to bring me things and serve me. But baristas burn their hands somewhat regularly on hot espresso machines and deal with really uppity un-caffienated monsters. I feel like I have to tip. The one that irritates me is hair dressers, specifically if they own their own salon or station. Because they set their rates a lot of times. Why can't you set the rate for your needs rather than giving me guilt? I would say that one I was never taught properly and I STILL don't know how much I'm supposed to tip at a hair dresser. Also, no landlords are not on call 24/7. Some landlords also manage the property, some hire property managers to be on call 24/7, and some just send out a handyman if an emergency comes up. Considering you charged me a security deposit and charge me MORE than the monthly mortgage requirements on the house, the extra money I give you each month is supposed to pay for the unexpected things like that. That's the whole point, or is supposed to be the whole point of why rent is so high. It's to accommodate the cost of the regular upkeep of the property as WELL as unexpected costs, ya know, like any person who owns a property would experience. The extra not used is the profit. If you property needs tons of repairs and is therefore not turning as much of a profit, that's not the renters fault, that's a bad investment. But the landlord dictates the rent. So they get to choose what it needs to be based on the risk of likely expensive repairs. I mean that's not a tipping thing. Tipping is for people who DON'T set their rates.
Oooooh so homeless people only need to learn and show that they are smart to get out of homelessness?! Wow. This dude solved homelessness! Who knew it was that easy ...🙄
Landlords forgot that baristas don't have any control over the price of the drinks they serve. Landlords on the other hand do have the power to control the price of your rent
I'm pretty sure landlords don't make 2 dollars an hour from colluding resteraunt industry groups and have to get tips to make up for absurdly stupidly low actual wages.

I don’t go to places that tell you how much to tip, i always tip but spending more then 5 dollars for a tip is too much sorry not sorry we ain’t rich here. Tipping a landlord is stupid they make so much money and want more talk about greedy.
God, I hope the first girl isn't renting... my parents are landlords (very nice ones who don't change late fees, give payment off etc) and they are now getting sued because their tenant wants 3x of their deposit... and the house was SO bad... like carpets needed to be replaced, and walls needed to be fixed, etc... so people who are renting PLEASE take care of houses, not like this lady-
Sadly, some restaurants seriously underpay their workers, making them rely on tips to live. I always tip cause I appreciate the service & I know what it's like for them sometimes.
Never tipped the maintenance guys but I have given one cologne and another a west coast choppers bike that my son didn't want. Is it normal to tip the maintenance guys? Mine are actually great guys.
So now we have to tip people for keeping up with legal requirements when renting out their property? I’m not tipping my landlord because she chose to cheap out on the water heater and now needs to have it replaced in the winter, and the a/c having normal wear & tear issues in our 107° summer (considering how many years its been there). All these predicable factors are already summed in the rent. If you don’t have certain things fixed such as having your not heater working at all when it’s below 32 outside, within 3-7 days (depending on your state), you can notify your landlord that you will be deducting a portion of next month’s rent to pay for repairs yourself. Save the receipt, and let them bring you to court. Particular in my state, judges will usually require the landlord to pay one month of your rent PLUS give you $500, pay the attorney & court fees, and possibly require your landlord to reduce your rent based on the value of the rental IF the problem couldn’t be resolved by a repair person (or you or the landlord doesn’t have the funds to pay for an extremely expensive repair). Sorry that I got off topic, but don’t let your landlord try to bully you into paying them while they choose to disobey local laws for tenants.
You’re actually really lucky that your landlord came out the same damn day, when my water heater was leaking at my old apartment, and soaked my fuçkin carpet, i called them twice in the span of a week and they didn’t send maintenance over until I lied and said it was starting to mold.

Most landlords are insufferable.
I've dealt with the worst. From landlords wanting rent even though the apartment was riddled with bullet holes, mice, and cockroaches from the 3rd floor neighbors.
No landlord, unless you're rich, will give a shit about calls.

Charlie called him out and he challenged Charlie to a fight then immediately backpedaled.

I was just thinking that any woman he "attracted" with his car isn't worth having. She'd trade up in a heartbeat
Apparently the landlord's secretary calling up contractors to fix the building while the landlord sits in a corporate office playing solitaire is "working after hours".

I think that's enough Internet for today
The landlord wasn’t joking-his point didn’t have any humor in it. Tips are ONLY for compensating a worker whose labor you benefit from directly. This isn’t the arrangement with a landlord unless they decide to repair something themselves and pay themselves from the fees that are already included in the cost of the rent. If the landlord didn’t factor those costs in, that’s not the renter’s fault.
If he's renting out a house, I guarantee it he's already tacked on several hundred dollars more to what he's paying in the actual mortgage on the property. Just greedy in the end.
The hotdogs in mashed potatoes rulled in waffles along with tomatoes seem legit enough for some odd polish regions, i am shocked by this, but if i know my country a bit, i can tell that this is something that they could go with in her family (she mentioned it on video as some sort of her family snack in the past for the parties), we do have so many weird recipes i mostly found during colleague life, like salad made out of chinese soup noodles with addition of mayo XD, the waffles used there are not exactly waffles for icecones which i think you might had on your mind there, but more of a waffles for cakes i know from my family, like "andruty" but this is also fried in egg. man idk, this is sick.
I think it is also called "Pischinger" in some countires, but that's just quick google search, i havent seen these outside of poland
I'm wondering if it's wasn't a more legit sausage, but even a hotdog I could see kinda working. Dunno about the waffle cone but I don't think I'd dislike it lmao

I know a homeless guy that does what the podcaster was suggesting. He lives in the train station of the biggest city in my country and just stands there and reads all day. Only difference is that he's not a young wannabe entrepreneur, he's an elderly gentleman who managed to get sober after years of alcoholism and uses reading as an escape and as a productive way to spend his time and entertain himself instead of drinking or using drugs. He's been there for many years and does have people that are occasionally helping him, not because they think he's super smart or a hard worker that's thirsty for knowledge or whatever, but because he's well known, elderly and a genuinely nice person. Nobody gives a shit if you're reading, if you really want a job you gotta go look for it or at least make it clear that that's what you're looking for. Depending on where you live, it's not impossible that someone will offer one to you, but it certainly won't be because you got a book in your hands

It looks fine in my opinion. Poles eat a lot of potatoes and sausages, so that makes at least some sense. At least she actually took an effort to make mashed potatoes (puree) correctly instead of whole containers of butter and hamburger meat.
Besides, she also mentioned in that TikTok that was her family recipe (source: I speak Polish and that's exactly what she said). That is not even the weirdest Polish traditional dish.

"Wow when i grow up, i wanna be a landlord..."
I guess this is what the landlord expect his audience to say...
I'm sure it pays very well, they just don't, you know, contribute anything to society.
I've been waiting on my community water to be fixed for 7 years now😂
i have become addicted to your videos and you must now legally take responsibility for being such an amazing youtuber and overall person

This is mash potatoes with butter and dill, with sausage (you can replace it with anything that you like, cheese for example), rolled in waffle (not sweet one), dipped in egg woth salt and pepper. You can also cover it with breadcrumbs. This is very good and I dare you to check it.
the last one- that caught me so off guard and I feel disturbed lol
The hot dog wafer recipe vid is is Polish, basically she says that it's a dish her family would often eat at gatherings when she was young and explained the steps. I would also like to note that the type of sheet wafer she used usually has little to no flavour and usually just tastes like a piece of paper, so I doubt it would even be noticeable.
So the language in 4:50 was polish but trust me our food is better than that abomination

Those landlords are delusional if they think they deserve anymore money than they already get from tenants.
I'm pretty sure landlords don't make 2 dollars an hour from colluding resteraunt industry groups and have to get tips to make up for absurdly stupidly low actual wages.
