  • My 1 Year Experience of Growing Wisteria in Containers (With its Growth Updates)
In this video/, I share my experience of trying to grow wisteria on my terrace garden and the mistakes I made along the way. Despite my best efforts, my attempt at growing this beautiful flowering vine ended in failure.
However, I was able to learn valuable lessons about what not to do when growing wisteria, and I hope to pass on this knowledge to others who are also interested in growing this plant.
My goal is to help you avoid the same mistakes I made and be successful in growing wisteria or other plants in your own garden.
The videos I make take days and several hours of editing work. If you liked my work then please show your love by liking my videos and subscribing to my RUclips channel as It keeps me motivated to work more on such videos.
    Thank you!

Wisteria needs water more than any plants. The way you kept Wisteria, it is not the idle condition for growing healthy vine. I have more than 30 vines in the container. I always keep in containers in the trays full of water during summer. It remains healthy and grows without any challenges. I add chicken manure, bone meal and liquid compost fertilizer.

I have one, more lilac and white. I've had it for approx. 3 years. Mine is in the sun most of the day. It is growing slow and have a couple of shoots. This plant will over take anything near it. Mine have a 4x4 stake in the ceramic pot. It is climbing upward; no flowers yet. I keep an eye on it because I don't want it to attach to the near wall and other plants. If it starts to get too big, I will probably give it away.

Thank you! This has been very useful! I'm just about to repot the wysteria I bought a few days ago and was looking for advice on where and how. I read that they are better in plastic pots as terracotta dry out too quickly. I am in south Greece and we too have very hot summers so I think I need to find somewhere where it will have dappled light. Again, thank you!

I planted new wisteria in the spring. They are growing well. But when I move the ends of the new vines to train. They die back about 6 inches. I am barely moving or touching them. ??

You seems like from India. At beginning you showed a well established big matured wisteria plant growing beside compound wall. How they able to grow it so well ?? and about your 1st plant , how you got this much good wisteria plant(with such thick trunk and long branches) for 600!!, Do they ship across India?? I bought one online for 600. It was just a cutting , which was thinner and smaller in size than your 2nd plant ! :(
i guess the cause for 1st plant to die are
    1) was not in a good porous soil
    2) that big pot soil looks like having more than needed organic things, wch is holding more water moisture thank plants roots can bare
    3) Hard direct sun light ke neech apne usko raha tha, so it got fry and dried faster. 50% Shade net uskrke ya indirect sunlight area par rakna tha.

Hi, yes I live in Punjab, India, and I took some photos and videos of wisteria blooms in my city from a neighbor's house.
I bought the first wisteria plant that had a thick trunk for 600 rupees from a local nursery in my Patiala City, I guess they don't grow it themselves but get it from another state or city.
And as per my knowledge they don't do online deliveries at all! 🚚 And thank you for sharing the helpful tips on growing wisteria.
Your writing is much appreciated and will benefit us all. Stay blessed! 🤗🫶💚

@@ParthMayn Thanks for reply. Agar apke aas pass already matured wisteria hain tho then "You Are Lucky sir". Why you buy from nursery paying 300-600 ?? coz wisterias easily grow from Cuttings. neighbor's ya from any in your city 2-3 cutting le aake khud grow kyun nai krtheho app?

Hey, the neighbor I'm talking about doesn't know me, and as an introvert, I prefer not to openly talk to people. So instead of asking the random neighbor for a plant cutting, I decided it was easier to buy the plant with my own money. Hope that makes sense! 😅😅😅😅😅

I think the mistake was the soil 🙏 they need acidic soil ph 6to 6.5 to get the right nutrition from the soil
