  • Coral vine or Queen's Wreath is one of the best plants to add to your landscape. It is a pollinator magnet, plus the seeds are a major food source for birds and small animals. This easy to grow vine is deciduous but while it is growing it will bloom prolifically. The vine will go dormant in the winter and pop back up in the spring .

That’s gonna be so gorgeous when it fills in over the well 😍 thank you for the in depth video. I am in Arizona and got some seeds just germinated one and when it grew nice sized secondary roots in my prop box I potted it up in a 2 inch and I’m just so excited. Have three more seeds and would love to repeat the process and move everything outside to one pot.

Nice, not only are they beautiful plants, but the pollinators love them. Happy gardening.

Hello! Excellent video, it answered most of the questions I had. I'm planning on growing this on my balcony in a pot since unfortunately I do not have a real garden where I live. I was wondering if you have any recommendations as for the size of the pot in diameter and depth. I'm aware it will probably not grow as big, but I really want to give it the best chance I can (my main concern here is the weight of the pot). Thanks again!

Hi and thank you, This is one of my favorite plants and the pollinators love it. I have grown these in 1 gallon pots with a small trellis before and they did well. The vine itself is lightweight and note that it will die back some in the winter unless you are in a very warm planting zone. The plant goes dormant for us in zone 9b. When in pots I have found it does best with small feedings about once a month or so while the plant has leaves, and best to keep the soil from drying completely out. Happy gardening.
