When your walking is the main weight going through your arms or the seat ? I have one and think I may be putting to much weight through the seat

Is this thing used more by ppl with spinal issues or hip displaysia ? Does it improve stability or strengthen muscles after using it ?

It can be used by people with spinal issues and hip dysplasia but it does not have to be. It is for anyone who difficulty with balance and standing, as it does not allow you to fall completely to the floor. The belt holds you in so that doesn’t happen. Yes I have seen a difference in muscle strength and less hip/leg pain. it allows me to do so many things that I wouldn’t have done before it’s some thing you have to experience in order to get.
