It's definitely more of a beach life than Ho Chi Minh! I want to go again when it's not vietnamese new years and see the vibe. It was pretty crowded during the time we were there. I'm sure it's more relaxed at other times.
@@dannybhoy1443 my wife called them actually but you can also book them on the 12go website. They are super useful and I booked the ferry with 12go too!
I lived there for 18 months. My apt. was around the corner from an expat bar, Belly's Watering Hole. Miss the buck beers and cheap food...I think you guys got overpaid for your dinner. But when you throw in shell fish and drinks...maybe. Vung Tau is a little cooler than HCMC as you get a breeze off the waters. Grab taxi's are cheap. Poor selection of cigars in town...I would buy them in Saigon.
We definitely ate a lot and the second round wasn't even filmed 😅 but it was really nice although due to the vietnamese new year it was super packed in both places! We eveb had issues getting grab taxis. 18 months is a super long time! You must have reached diamond level!
I’ve been to VT twice in the past two weeks. I went for the street food and local seafood joints. Your video makes me want to go upscale.
It was really fun for sure 😆
I was there the week after Tet. I love VT.
Great place and so close!
I hope to move there in about 3 to 4 months.
