So, back and forth on this for like 2 hours. Binding is SO HARD. Got every but the bind. I did hit myself in the face a couple of times, so that was fun.

100% agree
Use the over the wrist bind. Once in the undermount, roll the yoyo over your throw hand. It will keep the momentum going and it's the snappiest bind I have for horizontal. I have a 5 part series of Intro to horizontal on my channel.
If the 11 year olds here today can do horizontal, a lot of us would have been world champions in the early 2000's.

True, but its a lot easier to spend hours practicing when your 11 and only have to worry about middle school and how your going to have fun the rest of the time, so they have the advantage time-wise.

Once again, a "best in class" video and tutorial. Congratulations and thank you yoyo tricks. I had never really realised yoyo precession, and it being an issue in horizontal. I hadn't seen nor read about it in anythingI had read or watched so far, and that was spot on my main default in horizontal currently. I was super excited when you announced you would make this video, and you delivered, what can I say? Thank you again and well done!

tips: wear safety goggles and a mouthguard takes the fear out of it at first
and a plastic yoyo, without counterweights, no yoyo spikes, and doesn't shoot projectiles

Thanks for the abundance of helpful tips! I can tell a lot of thought went into breaking things down as much as possible, i was reluctant to dive into the long hours of practicing without some more tips like this to help iron out the kinks and make my practice time more efficient.
Now i feel like ive got way more of a fighting chance.

Just a quick question for you guys ? I really like to throw to EDM . It's kinda like a dance for me , I find I can make the yoyo walk the string and do some neat stuff but I like to keep the noose or loop for your finger off of my middle finger . Just wanted some feed back from you guys as I find it allows me to freely move the string between both hands for more of a free stlye . Any feed back is welcome 😊
Yo tricks im having a really hard time transitioning from the turnover to the mount and the pinwheels arent very staight and whne i try to mount it will miss how can i solve this?
ive got a rounded shoulder from lifting weights over the years, now when i try throw the yoyo for a trapeze the yoyoy is wonky hard keep it straight. currently looking on ebay to find a shutter or fizz as recomended in another video.

when i first tried horizontal yoyoing the thought of shortening the string never occurred to me and ended up hitting myself in the jaw and i was using the horizon so that kinda stopped me from ever trying again but these tips seem really helpful so ill try again

what tricks would you recommend to relatively new yoyoers. I can do rock the baby and the elevator sometimes but its hard to get the yoyo on the string.
Chance Moran Start learning the yoyo trick ladder. Progress slowly and take your time becoming consistent on each trick.

I got the hotizon and the bearing won't come off so i only lubed one side hoping that it would seep throught and go to the other side please respond i need to know
Nicholas Chung I (and most people) only use a single drop (off of a sewing needle or the like) on one side; it'll spread all around from spinning.
Hey I have had a sage yo-yo for about a week now and it is not spinning for as long as it used to and sounds and feels a bit grittier. Is this because I have not lubed it? If so what lube should I get (it is a responsive sage)
It sounds like you do need to lube your Sage, if it responsive we recommend that you use Thick Lube. :)

yo tricks to upgrade my sage starter to unresponsive can I just put thin yoyo lube? or do I have to buy a new bearing
To make the Sage unresponsive all you need to do is upgrade the bearing.

My skill level is in between advanced and intermediate I'm not saying I can pull it off but is it possible to do horizontal tricks then land a finger spin then bind to end the trick

yotricks I tried this out with my civility it works but it keeps on tilting what do I have to do? I have another yoyo named katana (from magic yoyo) it keeps on tilting to what do I have to do lube it or my string is to long or short or what...?

What level of string thickness do you use for the atlas? In terms of kitty string, closer to normal or fat?

It is not a yoyo we would recommend, because it does not have a ball bearing, so it will not sleep very long. If you are very interested in learning tricks we would recommend getting a ball bearing yoyo, like the Sage we use in this video.

Lol found out if your right handed and miss a lot you will loosen the string. Noticed wanted to see how far I could take it and the yoyo popped out of string talk about rejection

I've got an unresponsive Yoyo but sometimes it can come back like a normal one. Why would that be?
Piers Bunford - this can be for a couple of reasons. Check the following:
-Make sure your bearing doesn't have too much lube
-Make sure your string tension is as neutral as possible.
-If you recently changed your response pads, they may just need to break in.
-Sounds basic, but make sure there isn't a knot in your string or make sure its not looped around your bearing twice

I have a MYY N9 and its really good for begginers. Also try looking on Amazon ,Ebay, or AliExpress for yoyos

yotricks in the different styles like 1a 2a etc. where it says "get started" all of those links don't work.
I see the part you are talking about. When you select the image (on a mobile device) the buttons you can press are raised up so you can click them. It looks like the background for those buttons does not appear on some devices, so it is not clear there are buttons to press at all. We will look into it. Thanks for the help!

I have been yo yoing since i was 7 years old and still cannot get these binds down i know of one bind to get my unresponsive back to me and im not even sure its a "real" bind lol, and its hard to watch this video and try these tricks or binds without rewinding it bc he does it so fast and without ANY problems lol still great vid and wish i could yo yo like this guy☹😢
