We are back to doing what we do best - judging fashion from shows we watched as kids! This time The suite life of Zack and Cody are up, and we are going to take a look at whether anyone had it going on(especially when it comes to London Tipton, the fashion girlie of this show)

2000's clothes are so playfull, the colors, the textures, the layers and silhouettes. Just watching this video fills me with inspiration

TBH most of the screenshots aren't even that blurry.
Growing up with these Disney Shows I was always low-key jealous that the girl characters had all these cool outfits while the guys were stuck with the most bland, generic outfits. I know guys aren't as into fashion as girls but the Disney stylists could have tried better. The early 2000s was rough for the fellas.
I know Fedoras are fashion sacrilege but I think London actually pulls them off.
Yeah it’s about 720p, so it’s ok, but head to toe screenshots have no room to see details😭
I agree, guys had the blandest looks imaginable. Zack and Cody were styled differently from each other, which is at least something, but their looks are not interesting in general.
Also london definitely pulls off fedoras as much as they can be pulled off, I just don’t love them(especially in the fabrics they used)

Tbh even if they did wear the same outfits (eg: Cody in sweaters, Zack in patterened shirts) they had more personality than other disney channel boy's fashion. Like compare Zack's outfits from Suite Life to On Deck, what a downgrade.
I never realized how fun the fashion was in this show, I mainly focused on the goofy situations the characters were in.
I remembered that london had a lot going on, but not the specifics, so it was fun to actually look at it properly!
Same LOL but as a kid I loved both the fashions and the goofy situations. It all fits perfectly tho

One of my favorite things about Suite Life styling is how they handled Maddie’s style. I think it would’ve been so easy to dress her like the awkward/unfashionable/introverted academic type to be the polar opposite of London, but instead they gave her outfits that are still really cute and stylish though maybe a little less “in your face” than London’s. It gave me, a little academic girl from modest means, the inspiration to wear cute things and not feel weird about it. Which is maybe giving it too much credit? But I do think the achievability of Maddie’s style in general while still being stylish and cute was so great. Later Disney shoes tended to lean into the weirdly dressed trope for one of the main girls (which I also love!!!!), but I think that would’ve done her a huge disservice.

This era of Disney channel was the reason I was obsessed with wearing dresses with jeans, did I look ridiculous from time to time, I bet I did BUT I remember always feeling cool and thats more important. I need to get that mentality back

Carrie is underrated. London is fabulous, though i wasn't really feeling most of her looks in Suite life on Deck.

London being very fashionable makes a lot of sense given she's meant to be a play on Paris Hilton

I was manifesting this video so tysm❤. I feel like a Jessie Fashion Video would be very cool because it has some 2010 goals and regrets in it. Especially with Jessie and Emma. There are also some interestingly styled side characters. Just a thought though

I like to say l was low key envious of London's outfits? I love her hats. The scarves are so puffy. I love the light pink outfi isn't so adorable. I don't even know which episode it was from. She has an eye for color and she has werid accessories in hair, the necklaces are nice and especially her L necklace. Why did she stopped wearing The L necklace?

Yeah idk if it was the mic or my laptop(it’s on its last legs and the connection might’ve been busted), but it’s not noticeable on speakers to compare to headphones
Hopefully I’ll have a new laptop soon(my screen is also broken on this one ahahah) and there will be no issues in the future

As far as I know, kanzashi is usually a single pin, and here it seems like they put actual chopsticks in haha

ok i mostly totally agree but the sporty fedora London look?? ugg i love it! i think its so good... like obvi they were on a budget and the quality wasnt there, but imagine a real rich girl wearing that look & the pearls are fully real and shes wearing them with the bedazzled jersey she got from some basketball game she got courtside seats to but didnt even care to watch?? and the fedora to top it off? i think the fedora which has been co-opted by gross incel guys, gets such a fashion slay moment when it is worn by a hot flirty rich girl fr
fr let Maddie cook 👏 I'm from Panama and I grew up watching this show, I was a huge Maddie fan (yes, biased and what about it 🤧) so I'd try to copy her looks and in this tropical weather I looked crazy with all the layers and looking at the outfits now they looked kinda crazy tbh but as you said smh they work!

I remember I used to think the disney styling was what top notch fashion looked like, they were always so fun, colorful, and had quirky layering (of course some outfits were better than others). I especially liked their accessories, idk the sparkles always looked so good on camera.✨

This was definitely a fun time for fashion. For Disney shows especially. I love characters like London and seeing what they wear. It does also make me want to accessorize more, a thing I've never done lol. Male characters don't seem to get a lot of love in the fashion department though. Not just for this show, but in general most of the time.
I grew up watching the show dubbed in Hindi and there was an Indian remake of the show which was well rated.

Disney Channel has done a lot of crimes fashion against humanity, also the early 2000s were very weird and experimental, it was a really fun time, so the clothes are going to look a bit out of place.
But the early 2yk clothes were all extra tight, that's why they may look unflattering to the body shape.

Hey I think these outfits have a certain aesthetic to them that I like for some reason. Maybe because I loved this show as a kid. Compared to most stuff from Disney, I prefer shows like this. Suite life of Zack & Cody/On Deck, Good Luck Charlie, Liv & Maddie, Austin & Ally, Bear in the big blue house...even that A.N.T show whatever it was called. I wish we could go back to this era! Like, the era where Disney channel had fun shows for kids and didn't care about all the political stuff or sneaking dirty jokes. Also, the shows were for COMEDY and the teens acted like actual teens. Like, they weren't talking about sex all the time, they were doing crazy things like when Moseby taught London how to drive and they tried to break Cody out of that math camp, that was genius writing!
Also, the outfits they designed for London work perfectly since she's the out-of-touch rich girl who's obsessed with sparkles (we see in Suite life on Deck, the spin off, we see her become more ditsy and obsessed with sparkly things more than in Suite life of Zack & Cody). She's obviously lso really more obsessed with fashion in Suite life on Deck than Suite life of Zack & Cody. Also, Shake it Up had some wild fashion too. I feel like Good luck Charlie was one of the few shows where the characters dressed more normal, maybe to fit in more with the aesthetic of the show. Like, a normal mid-class teen girl is going to dress different than a super rich girl who lives at a fancy hotel in Boston.

That is the truth about clothing. Especially, as you get older because clothing isn't made to fit well. I do usually get clothes that make me look appealing as in the fit with my style in mind. Jeans are very hard for me to find because I'm short and my weight changes a bit, now. I don't want to waste money on a tailor. Unless, I do truly love a pair of jeans enough to get it done. That hasn't happened to me, yet.

As someone that's 5ft, I get all my jeans at American Eagle. They have an expensive petite "short" section and in like every style and size!!!
