If you need to make a Map of your World, You can craft a Map with a Compass (4 Iron Ingots and a Piece of Redstone Dust in a Cross shape in the Crafting Table) and some Paper (3 Sugarcane in a Horizontal Line in the Crafting Table) in a Similar Shape as the Blast Furnace, The Compass in the Center surrounded by Paper, and you've got yourself an Empty Map. This map will be the Base Map Level, covering an area of 8 By 8 Chunks or 128 by 128 Blocks. To increase the Area covered by the Map, Craft a Cartography Table (4 Planks and 2 Pieces of Paper over top) and then Take the Map and Add a Piece of Paper per Level up to Level 4 for the Following Coverage.... • Level 0: 8 by 8 Chunks or 128 by 128 Blocks. • Level 1: 16 by 16 Chunks or 256 by 256 Blocks. • Level 2: 32 by 32 Chunks or 512 by 512 Blocks. • Level 3: 64 by 64 Chunks or 1,024 by 1,024 Blocks. • Level 4: 128 by 128 Chunks or 2,048 by 2,048 Blocks. also kihec i think the mod u were thinking about when u wanted blocks to be different (after trying out the chisel), i think it's FramedBlocks by XFactHD on curseforge. it adds craftable frame blocks and with them u take any block u want and put it into the frame. rlly simple and great for building
If you want mods like chisel they would be either Chipped or Rechiseled Edit: Chisel and bits makes it so that you can carve out mini blocks out of blocks and ad mini blocks to the blocks its quite hard to learn
