this is an important video for me. This VW Scirocco R witch pushes 330 HP was Build and owned by my dad. (www.wheeldreamz.de) . Now my best friend Jan owns it and it makes me happy to see that this car is in good hands. I connect so much good memories with this car. Like going on mountain runs with my dad back in the days. This car is just so special for me.

I’m really jealous we didn’t get the MK3 Scirocco here in the US, it’s such a beautifully designed car. In 9 more years I can import a 2008 model year. Keep one nice for me ok? 😂
hell yea , love this car so much. But you can only import 30 year old cars to the us? So all Golf GTI´s in the US are made in the US and not in Germany?
@@steezymedia69 Yeah pretty much… the US has strict transportation safety laws, so we can only buy cars that were approved to be sold here as new. There is an exception that once a foreign car reaches 25 years old, we can import them. If we do it before that time, it will be confiscated by customs and destroyed before we could even take delivery. 🤣 We were approved for the new Golf, but VW never sent the MK3 Scirocco our way, claiming they wouldn’t be able to make money. The Jetta and Passat are made in the US, but the Golf and GTI models are still made in Wolfsburg, Germany. The Golf is cool and I could get one now, but the Scirocco just looks soooo much better! 👍🏼
Mein erster Wagen war ein Golf 2 GTI. Danach hab ich meinem Onkel einen Scirocco 2 abgekauft. Absolut underrated diese Autos. Sieht sehr gut aus in komplett Schwarz^^

I love my 2 door MK7 GTI, but if I could ever get my hands on one of these it is by far my favorite VW. Great job.

Die haben eine ABE und musst du eh nicht eintragen lassen, da die den Lichtorgel nicht beeinflussen
