Beautiful stitching! You have lots of projects, but I love how organized you are. Your thrift shop finds are always fun to see. I do like to stitch from kits. I also like pulling threads, choosing fabrics, etc on non-kit projects. Kits are great to tuck into a bag for on the go stitching. The project bag is just gorgeous with the flowers. My favorite flower is the daffodil. But, bachelor buttons come in second place. What a scary thing to happen with your daughter. Thank goodness she is safe. Take care, happy stitching. ❤

Christmas will be here before we know it but first is spring with all the wonderful flowers. I see I have daffodils peeking up out of the ground. Of course, most of the ground is covered with about 6" of snow. Glad to hear your daughter is home safe and I hope her car can be fixed without too much expense. Thanks you. My bulbs are coming up also. I love daffodils. We have not had much snow. It's 72 here today so we've been working out in the yard. It's crazy temps for Feb. Sad to say my daughters car was transmission so she was able to sell it and is shopping for a new car now.

Thank you. Yes, I have several Kay's Creations lapstands, I also have Elan lapstand from Artisan Designs, and an American Dreams floor stand that is probably 35 yrs old. They are no longer in business but there are many other floor stands available. ❤️
Hi Deana. Your stitching is lovely as always. You always seem to find some really good deals at the Goodwill stores. That case is a fabulous find and it's in amazing condition. I like stitching from patterns mostly but do buy kits if I like the piece and want to stitch it. My favorite flowers are irises, peonies, gladiolas, tulips, and roses. I am so glad you mentioned the issue with stickers. I was all for it and bought all of the stickers but it stresses me out to have to decorate the book. Now I just write in things to keep track and little. I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for taking the time to share your creativity!

I have always stitched on a kit until very recently when the world of cross stitching opened up my eyes and I have since started my own Flosstube 😁 Now I enjoy both kits and patterns. The snowdrops have pushed through now here in Yorkshire and it's always a joy to see these flowers as the first signs of spring.

I just found you! How delightful your floss tube is. I’m going to try several of your ideas to keep track of my stitching and track my accomplishments. Wish you were my neighbor!! Kits are fun but I buy more patterns. This year for Christmas I made 4 advent mini trees for my children and granddaughter. Each tree had a theme and every ornament was cross stitched and beaded. Took me 10 months to make them and was a labor of love. Your flower bag is beautiful ❤❤. Thank you for such a fun floss tube.

I started off buying kits. A kit was just easier at the beginning because everything was there and ready to start. But I have been venturing into buying patterns and kitting it myself. Congratulations on your 5k subscribers. I was interested in how you keep track of the number of stitches you do on each project . It's always good to hear different ways of doing things. I buy both patterns and kits. Because I live in a very rural area, it's nice to get everything together in a kit, but pdf patterns are easy and faster to get, as well as cheaper! I'm hoping my outside flowers are not coming up yet; it's just too soon. There will be more snow to come here in northern Michigan!
Congrats on the 5,000+ subscribers! And good for you in starting a full coverage piece. I’m nearing the stitching end of my ninth full coverage - this one is by far my largest at 30” x 20”! My tip is to GRID your fabric. You’re not far along so you may want to purchase some pre-gridded fabric and restart your piece - or, create grids yourself by either drawing the lines (which is what I do) or by stitching basting lines. I stitched several full - coverage pieces before I learned of gridding; it’s been a game changer for me! I look forward to watching your progress on that piece. And East St.Louis - 😨😰

Kits are nice, but charts allow you to be more creative in linen, floss,etc. Christmas is my favorite holiday! Flowers are everywhere if you just look, even in the woods.
Your channel popped up for the first time. Its been an absolute pleasure to spend time with you Deana. Your video just flowed. I felt like we were friends, that sounds strange!. Congratulations 🎉on 5.41 k subs, right near your two year anniversary too. You must be one of a few using paper patterns and i like your system keeping record of your stitches. I love numbers too. When i used to do a bit of book keeping i would prefer to write it in a book rather than on a computer, i don't trust computers but do trust my brain. (Well maybe not so much now i'm getting on in years lol) Daffodils are one of my favourite flowers, there is such a variety or colours and shapes. I live in UK so if you don't want to post over no worries. I love all your goodies from your Goodwills(we call them charity shops here). Its amazing what can be found. I found a completed Mirabelia once including beads for 50p(half of a £), it is so sad when you think of all the time and live someone has put into a project, only to be thrown into a charity shop/goodwill. Beautiful stitching! You have lots of projects, but I love how organized you are. Your thrift shop finds are always fun to see. I do like to stitch from kits. I also like pulling threads, choosing fabrics, etc on non-kit projects. Kits are great to tuck into a bag for on the go stitching. The project bag is just gorgeous with the flowers. My favorite flower is the daffodil. But, bachelor buttons come in second place. What a scary thing to happen with your daughter. Thank goodness she is safe. Take care, happy stitching. ❤

Christmas will be here before we know it but first is spring with all the wonderful flowers. I see I have daffodils peeking up out of the ground. Of course, most of the ground is covered with about 6" of snow. Glad to hear your daughter is home safe and I hope her car can be fixed without too much expense. Thank you. Yes, I have several Kay's Creations lapstands, I also have Elan lapstand from Artisan Designs, and an American Dreams floor stand that is probably 35 yrs old. They are no longer in business but there are many other floor stands available. ❤️
Hi Deana. Your stitching is lovely as always. You always seem to find some really good deals at the Goodwill stores. That case is a fabulous find and it's in amazing condition. I like stitching from patterns mostly but do buy kits if I like the piece and want to stitch it. My favorite flowers are irises, peonies, gladiolas, tulips, and roses. I have always stitched on a kit until very recently when the world of cross stitching opened up my eyes and I have since started my own Flosstube 😁 Now I enjoy both kits and patterns. The snowdrops have pushed through now here in Yorkshire and it's always a joy to see these flowers as the first signs of spring.

I just found you! How delightful your floss tube is. I’m going to try several of your ideas to keep track of my stitching and track my accomplishments. Wish you were my neighbor!! Kits are fun but I buy more patterns. This year for Christmas I made 4 advent mini trees for my children and granddaughter. Each tree had a theme and every ornament was cross stitched and beaded. Took me 10 months to make them and was a labor of love. Your flower bag is beautiful ❤❤. Thank you for such a fun floss tube.

Congratulations on your 5k subscribers. I was interested in how you keep track of the number of stitches you do on each project . It's always good to hear different ways of doing things. I buy both patterns and kits. Because I live in a very rural area, it's nice to get everything together in a kit, but pdf patterns are easy and faster to get, as well as cheaper! I'm hoping my outside flowers are not coming up yet; it's just too soon. There will be more snow to come here in northern Michigan!

Congrats on the 5,000+ subscribers! And good for you in starting a full coverage piece. I’m nearing the stitching end of my ninth full coverage - this one is by far my largest at 30” x 20”! My tip is to GRID your fabric. You’re not far along so you may want to purchase some pre-gridded fabric and restart your piece - or, create grids yourself by either drawing the lines (which is what I do) or by stitching basting lines. I stitched several full - coverage pieces before I learned of gridding; it’s been a game changer for me! I look forward to watching your progress on that piece. And East St.Louis - 😨😰

Kits are nice, but charts allow you to be more creative in linen, floss,etc. Christmas is my favorite holiday! Flowers are everywhere if you just look, even in the woods.

Your channel popped up for the first time. Its been an absolute pleasure to spend time with you Deana. Your video just flowed. I felt like we were friends, that sounds strange!. Congratulations 🎉on 5.41 k subs, right near your two year anniversary too. You must be one of a few using paper patterns and i like your system keeping record of your stitches. I love numbers too. When i used to do a bit of book keeping i would prefer to write it in a book rather than on a computer, i don't trust computers but do trust my brain. (Well maybe not so much now i'm getting on in years lol) Daffodils are one of my favourite flowers, there is such a variety or colours and shapes. I live in UK so if you don't want to post over no worries. I love all your goodies from your Goodwills(we call them charity shops here). Its amazing what can be found. I found a completed Mirabelia once including beads for 50p(half of a £), it is so sad when you think of all the time and live someone has put into a project, only to be thrown into a charity shop/goodwill. It is sad though that things like that end up at shops but I guess whoever buys them really likes them, so we give them good homes. My daughter and son in law are taking a trip to the UK later this year and I told them I'm so jealous! They love to travel( they don't have kids) so they usually take 2 or 3 trips a year to see other countries. Take care and have a great week❤️
Congratulations on 5k subscribers. I am 50/50 on buying kits. It's nice being able to just go home and start project, however there is alot of joy kitting up a pattern.

My dog takes Prozac, it took a month for him to show any difference. My dog was a rescue and he has so much anxiety

Congratulations on 5k! You have such great content on your videos! I also love seeing your thrift finds. I love both kits and patterns. Sometimes it is just nice to have everything in a kit so you don’t have to pick floss or fabric. Christmas may be over, but I am still stitching it. I have a few flowers coming up here in southwest Missouri: crocuses and daffodils mainly. Also, some grape hyacinths. Happy stitching!
Thanks Joyce, I should be more of a kit buyer because I don't enjoy the kitting up process. My daffodils are up about 4" so will be budding soon. It has been beautiful weather and today we are in the deep freeze as you probably are too. At least it's supposed to be a warm sunny weekend. ❤️

I might get better at math if I did what you do. Happy for you to get some FFO's done. It will be a while before I will get any done. I am anxiously waiting for my daffodils to begin blooming. As always I love seeing your stitching. I also love when you show your thrift hauls. I go Goodwill hopping every weekend with my dad and I always look for stitching stuff and Pooh Bear items. I’m envious about your table Ottlite find! I found a floor lamp Ottlite for $10 at Goodwill and I was hoping against hope it would work, but unfortunately it had a ballast issue and that was that.
