Graffiti Covered High Rise Makes Graffiti History

- In LA graffiti artists have been tagging, and rocking pieces on a few unfinished high-rises. Countless graffiti artists have entered the buildings and painted the inside and outside of these skyscrapers with beautiful graffiti that can be seen from afar. The Grammy Awards are set to take place near these towers, and officials stated while they'd like to have the graffiti cleared before then, it simply isn't possible.

really opened the flood gates.
Some people got dissed on this building I imagine because they have beef
I remember when they tore 5point down man
Everyone on the miami building was mostly LA writers
Called Graffers "criminals.' Then plugs a book on how not to be toy.
Any writer who says they aren't a criminal is delusional and childish. We all know what we do or did is against the law and therefore makes writers criminals, that's why many do it to begin with. Let's not be childish and pretend breaking the law isnt crimal activity, that's literally part of being a writer.
Someone should make a building like this but it’s specifically dedicated for graffiti. That way there isn’t an excuse to tear it down or buff the graffiti on it. It could be like a legal wall or should I say a legal tower.
Grim, I’m new here, do you have a video explaining the fundamentals of NYC style or San Fran Funk style pieces, and also Wildstyle? All the best, Fox
Firstly, welcome and thanks for the support. the fundamentals are the fundamentals, they dont change based on san fran, NYC, or Philly. if you understand and learn the fundamentals, and how they function, you can do any graffiti, in any language, hell, you'll even be able to do a made up alien language in a NY, San Fran, or Philly style if you wanted to. focus on learning the fundamentals without style and when you learn that you'll be able to do any style easily. I have 1 complete playlist that teaches all 5 of graffiti's basics and we're working on a second updated playlist that so far has a few vids but is not complete. The videos you're looking for are tutorials on
Letter structure
Negative space management
Letter name weight
Letter name positioning
Flow
@Theartistblock firstly thanks for the quick, in-depth, no bs response. Looks like putting my head down and grinding it out is the best way forward.. I guess it's frustrating having all this passion and wanting to immediately excel at something you love! It takes time, time to practise over and over all the techniques, and you can't cheat practise if you want to be an authentic artist. Since 2019, I've gone from tags to throws, I'm on BASIC straight letters now. Gonna have to look at your stuff for more on the fundamentals, appreciate all the work you're doing, and thanks for being real with me.
I live in Tromsø in northern Norway. To see the videos of Ocean Wide Plaza tagged down really motivates me. To be doing graff is to be part of something bigger than yourself and your town.
Love your videos
The society has stereotyped graffiti with crime, but there is a clean side to graffiti
It’s crazy bro
This is nothing but beautiful & should raise the property value. This looks better then before & I wish I had bank like that to buy the buildings 🇺🇸
They're not going to demolish a brand new state of the art building dude. They just gonna finish it and upgrade it
Where i can get your book?
On his page.
We are witnessing a collaboration of beings blessed with supernatural talents and abilities. It is just simply beautiful! #forthewriters
seen my peice in this video and it’s still running 😂 35th floor boys
It would be insane if you make an interview with Ramsey and Notice
Aye yall gave us ideas here in downsouth Florida we love what yall are doing for the culture!
Graffiti artists are pretty cool. I love all the unique art they make. If I had my own house, I’d hire a bunch of them to spray paint my walls. I love seeing all the detail in each artist’s tag. Yeah, what they’re doing is illegal, but in the pursuit of art, anything is a canvas if you’re brave enough. Art has been pushing the boundaries for centuries, and these graffiti tags are no different from the art of ancient times. Controversial, yet beautiful. Still, what these artists are doing is dangerous and illegal, and I hope they stay safe and careful.
#FL has entered the chat....I just wanna say thanks #LA for paying homage to us here in #DownSouth #FL and taking it to the next level. Don't worry we gunna figure something out lol.
On The Run just killed it 💨💨💨
Yeah but remember the MILLIONS the artists at5points won for that destruction!!!!?🎉
LEGENDS

Graffiti is ugly and criminal! 🤬 Shame on you!

Respect other people's property whether you go to jail or not. Shame on you. Piece on your own property. You are young and foolish. Don't you realize they will not demolish a BRAND New building!! It's worth at least a billion dollars. They will FINISH THE BUILDING.
And they will have money to paint it boring grey or white again, calm down Karen..
@@F42355E you probably still love with momma and don't own anything. That's why you don't care. Paint your face all you want. It's yours. You'll understand if you ever own anything
The building was for money laundering and was abandoned now it’s a huge canvas at least it has some purpose and looks interesting and creative
They started buffing it, but we all know by the time they buff the top we will hit the bottom
Love seeing it! Perfect example of what graffiti does - Ugly stuff gets some color. The public gotta realize that
They literally turned those buildings into an art gallery, so cool.
It's pretty 3rd world.
Art? Lol..
Yeah this is the biggest graffiti colab I have ever seen...FKN amazing!
Looks soooo much better now !
time to visit the eye doctor.

Hell ya buddy💪
I live in Miami
Im an Artist
I was painting faces on trees
in North Miami Beach
the city hated them but a lot of
people liked them
lucky for me i didnt get caught
the problem with graffiti
is you dont get paid
so those dudes on that building
are putting themselves in
danger ...for no pay
Graffiti artists are not supposed to be paid. They destroy and vandalized private property. None of the them can even own property so they go out and destroying out of boredom or bc someone called them an artist.
Nice 4:23 ODG 💥💥
Clean work💪
I saw u read the comments abt it lol
N.Y.C. STARTED THIS,BUT YOU BROS ROCK,THANK YOUS ,....
They are not going to knock those buildings down because the glass has paint on it. 😅😅
I am a huge street art lover. I love this it is a great canvas
🙏🏾😎✊🏾
A interview with Veefer wks ris
I want to get my name up there
when first drone shots popped up i literally called it "fake / cgi".. thanks for giving a little bit of background to all of this.
I spotted pieces covering others pieces in other videos
for interviews it would be cool to see shime TFC or Dlae from perth
This guy is no champion. He is a vandalism expert. That's all he is and he should be put in jail
He will actually they are already discussed painting over many murals n downtown LA. This has been discussed in meetings. Money will be diverted to paint over many so called artists work. They will also raise a tax on spraying and all paints including the paint used to cover it up. This will be a win win for those people who cannot pay the fines.
