    Why did you say the fox aliens was a beast. This is 10 times the performance of Fox Aliens.

      The FA 4040 XE-Pro is a solid Machine. Dollar for Dollar this is a better buy.

    If you could only buy one machine would buy this one or the Foxalein 4040XE?

      The NymoLabs IMO has a leg up.
      #1. Linear Tube Rails
      #2. 710w @ 30k rpm Spindle Provided
      #3. Larger work area. 5040
      I can give you the long term review on this as of yet but so far it’s standing out!

    You're not going to find another desktop CNC machine that beats this for the price. It's currently going for $1099 USD. Nema 23s all around, 710W spindle included, linear rails, above average 5040 work area (for the price) and built like a tank. Most upgrades are already done for you out the box.

      Exactly! They have a $600 off sale and I think only a few left at that price! Thanks for watching

    Don't understand why manufacturers of these hobby machines want to make the cutting spaces rectangular (5040) instead of square (example 5050). Sainsmart - Genmitsu the same way.

      Not sure honestly!! Personally I’d take a 6161!!! That’s a 24”x24” work area!

    I purchased one of the Nymolabs accessories last week for my NBX-5040, the 4th axis is a bit difficult for a CNC newbie like me. I aim to make a small percussion shaker instrument for my students. I had some trouble with the CAM software, but tech support resolved my issue quickly, thumbs up.

      Awesome!!! My next weekend video is about their accessories. I too am no pro with the 4th Axis so I can’t wait to play around with it!

    Great video, I bought 5040 from the Nymolabs website, and with a $600 discount recently, it seems like a New Year activity.

      Heck Ya Bro!!! I need a 6040 in my life too!!! But so far the 5040 is pretty awesome! I have a new video Sunday am about how I create my waste boards. Hope you check it out!

      @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman I just subscribed to your channel. I can't wait to see your next video. Do you mill any aluminum? My 6040 is built like a tank and can handle Aluminum easily. Will your spoilboard have inserts for locking things down?

    • @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman
      @TheCrawlspaceCraftsman  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@andrewlozinak273 so i usually do not use the t-locks so for my board no. It’s a full spoil board with a grid. I make a ALOT of 100% cut through items such as cutting boards sos the T-locks don’t work for me . I don’t do too much aluminum but plan on “testing the waters” so to speak! I’m gong to try to increase my uploads to twice a week due to the fact I have so many ideas! LoL. Thanks so much for subscribing! It means a lot!

    Thanks for the vid. Dispite all the features...too small. Same issue I am finding with all of these "desktop" CNC machines. Fact is, you don't need a beast when you are only doing projects that are 300mmx300mm. (500x400 is the table dimension but not the actually cutting space) You are better off buying a CNC that you can expand. Meaning one that has adaptable parts for lengthening the bed, etc. This is what drew me to the Foxalien stuff in the first place. Long story short, you are going to want to do bigger projects. Most of these desktop CNCs cannot even handle a full-sized guitar or bass body. I would be interested to see how this does on metal. Because I think it's overbuilt for wood projects and your money is better spent elsewhere personally.

      Hey there! Thanks for watching but your wrongs the Travel aka work/cut dimensions are 19.75”x15.75” (500mmx400mm). Not 300x300Also there will be an extension kit available really soon. I also think the stronger the machine no matter the size, the longer it’s going to last. I do appreciate the comment and I will provide more videos about all this very soon! Thanks for watching!!!

    • @Theexplorographer
      @Theexplorographer 8 месяцев назад

      This is true only if you use a tape and glue method of holding your work piece down which, is not recommended for serious CNC work. So while technically true that it is 500x400, practically, it is not. I still believe the CNC is over built for the sized projects you would be making on it. I look forward to your future videos. @@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman
