I've never heard anyone complain about Laurent's death-drop, what I call his floor moves, the 1 foot spin (that Larry does also), etc. But let Larry do signature moves and it's a problem. All dancers have signature moves. All dancers don't grow or change in movement on a regular basis no matter what the dance form is - ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, ballroom. That said, Larry isn't copying Laurent. He's only feeling the music differently, whether it's from maturing, age-related, emotions, love. His dance has changed because he has... and it looks real good on him!
