Bringing a Bicycle Back From The Dead 😵 - Custom Beach Bicycle

I was very excited when a customer brought in this old Bilda Brewster! This is a cruiser my company produced back in the early 2010s. It’s a stretched beach cruiser with one of the most comfortable riding positions I’ve ever experienced.
The bike was left in a shed for years until the owner decided it was time to get it rolling again so he could ride around with his kids. The price of the rebuild was going to be quite a bit, but there’s just no other bike like this one, so he ultimately landed on doing a complete rebuild.
The frame was stripped of all the parts and thoroughly cleaned and degreased.

This bike literally had every part replaced. The build list includes:
- Aluminum Black Wheels - Wide profile
- White Wall Tires
- New headset
- New Bottom Bracket
- New Black Ops Chainring
- New Crabk arm and pedals
- New seat, clamps and post
- New stem and bars
- Matching brown grips and saddle
- Rustbuster chain
Overall I think the build turned out great! The bike has a few scratches and dings, but we may do a repaint at some point. In the meantime, the customer is ready to hit the beach and neighborhood with his kids. Many happy miles are ahead
