For those of you that have taken law school exams before you know that everything you learn in class is not tested on. I just graduated Graduate school with my masters in Teaching English as a Second Language in December with a 1 and 1/2 year old! and I was soo afraid that no one would give me the chance to prove myself because I didn’t have much experience. To my surprise, when I began to apply for jobs I got a bunch of interviews and eventually landed a job. When I was in the interview where I now work, I stated “I just need someone to give me a chance to prove myself” I was honest and I guess they liked it because now I’m an adjunct professor in the CityColleges of Chicago! Again, I am so proud of you! You are a testimony 💯💯

Amen! Grades only matter for scholarships. In the "real world", It's all about who you know and your ability to engage with people. Most importantly, you have to know YOURSELF and target opportunities that fit you. CONGRATULATIONS on the Dean's List! I'm so proud of you!

I wish I knew this when I was in law school (graduated 10 years ago). This is awesome advice. Definitely apply and don’t let grades or others pigeon hole you.

I'm a recent grad who worked full time and studied. Something happened on top of everything else which meant I got a pass in my conversion. I've been having really dark thoughts as to where my prospects lay, but when you said "don't let it define you" really helped. I know this is 2 years old, not UK based and you might just be better at shining naturally but you have given me a little hope. Thank you.

WOW God is so good. I was just feeling down about my undergrad grades fearing I won't get into a good law school but then as soon as I got on RUclips your video pops up. This just motivated me even more!!

I graduated with my MBA but I was so focus on my grades when my gpa dropped one semester that I was in a serious depression. This is such good advice to concentrate on being a well rounded student instead of focusing on the “A” grade. Truly in the end when interviewing no one asked to see my transcript they wanted to see how I would fit in with the firm and collaborate with others.

It is so nice to hear about law students that tend to fall in the middle sometimes. I have also never been a 4.0 student in my whole life but I have always been a student that wants to work really hard and I constantly feel intimidated by students who are able to achieve the best grades at all times. I am currently studying for the LSAT and it is a challenge.. do you have any recommendations for a full-time student who also works full time who wants to be more consistent in studying for the exam? Congrats on graduation approaching!
Absolutely!! Grades are important but realistically everyone cannot be a 4.0 student and that's perfectly fine. Good luck on the LSAT! My advice would be to have a strict schedule and stick to it. Time management is key ❤️

Just switch your studying habits and reflect on what you did wrong and try to switch it up this semester. You can do this! ❤️
Kaitlyn Evana THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Don’t let 1 semester throw off your next semester. Create new study habits, talk with your professors when you get confused, talk to 2Ls and 3Ls that have taken that professor and class already for tips, etc. YOU GOT THIS ❤️
