I used to live in Ridgewood NJ from June 1986 till December 1990 I was working as a bank teller later on as a head teller at what was then National Community Bank at 25 West Ridgewood ave and at the drive-in at 67 Godwin ave, then I moved back to the Netherlands. I live now in The Hague (near Amsterdam) I remember the nice stores and restaurants on and near West and East Ridgewood ave. I miss my lunch I used to get on business days at Perotta's.
The compilation is called 'Willy Wonka Selections' by Krisanthi Pappas, from the album 'My Back Yard'. The songs include Pure Imagination, I've Got a Golden Ticket and The Oompa Loompa Song.
Thanks for compiling these, but could you please annotate the video to add the text that is cropped on the postcards, so that we may read it? Also, if there is any descriptive text on the backs of the cards, it would be helpful to have that annotated as well.
