- In Upcoming videos, we're going to be building a Yngwie Malmsteen Strat guitar from the ground up! But first lets look at the parts! Starting With A XGP guitar Body from GuitarFetish
We're going to be using parts from various vendors such as guitar Fetish & Amazon Strat guitars to build our own custom Strat. We'll be unboxing the parts, and then we'll be building the guitar from start to finish i a series of videos.

I purchased an aliexpress yjm strat for $190 a couple of years ago. I put Duncan yjm pkup's in it.250k burns pots. brass trem block. Stainless saddles.all for about $350. plays fantastic....

The bodies from the vendor I’ve used …they are basswood bodies I believe however they are resonant fine…The vintage white a rare fender color looks great..I certainly wud like to see yr build especially what “pups” yr gonna put in it…🤙🏻🎸

Yngwie uses a 3 way selector, not 5. Not a deal breaker but just saying. He also uses a "speed knob" on the volume pot for doing swells and such. I'm currently waiting on my neck and body to arrive. I bought the Duncan preloaded guard with YTM Fury pups, and they still put a 5 way selector on it. I may not be able to play like Yngwie, but at least I'll look like I can play like Yngwie, lol.

This was done more like the Fender Custom Shop Signature model. I prefer a five way.
Does this guitar have stacked humbuckers? I couldn't tell by looking. Seymour Duncan stacked humbuckers for that price would be unreal.
Where are you sourcing the scalloped neck?
The neck came from Amazon. No longer available from what I can tell.
How much for the overall cost?
