Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR by Harald Dietze - Abarth Track Day at Varano de' Melegari - Actions + Onboard!

I have to thank Harald Dietze and his awesome Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR who took part in the 8th Classic Abarth Track Day organized by Berni Motori and Franzoni Auto. On this occasion, I was able to film his wonderful car and insert the action cam inside. Harald is a car restorer based in Worblingen, Germany (www.dietze.autoauto.de) and specializes in Fiat and Abarth. This 1967 car is perfect and has a very well made processing. 1.100cc engine, 2x40 Weber carburetors, special connecting rods, bearings, clutch and flywheel, balanced crankshaft, everything has been done to perfection. The engine runs very high, reaches 8,500 rpm, 5-speed Monza transmission, independent suspension with front stabilizer, 4 disc brakes, 2-circuit braking system, original Abarth screwed rear fender, like the original. Also, the paint is original Abarth, with the large chessboard. It mounts Semi slicks tires, front 7Jx13 185/60-13 and at the rear 8Jx13 205/60-13. It was very nice to see "Piccola & Cattiva" turn, Harald drives very fast and the car sounds great. Thanks to Berni Motori for welcoming me to the track-day, what a great day! Enjoy ;-)
Devo ringraziare Harald Dietze e la sua splendida Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR che hanno partecipato all'8° Track Day per Abarth classiche organizzato da Berni Motori e Franzoni Auto. In questa occasione ho potuto filmare la sua splendida vettura ed inserire la action cam all'interno. Harald è un restauratore di vetture con sede a Worblingen, in Germania (www.dietze.autoauto.de) ed è specializzato sulle Fiat e sulle Abarth. Questa vettura, del 1967 è perfetta ed ha una elaborazione molto ben fatta. Motore 1.100cc, 2x40 carburatori Weber, bielle speciali, cuscinetti, frizione e volano, albero motore bilanciato, tutto è stato fatto a regola d'arte. Il motore gira molto in alto, raggiunge gli 8.500 giri/min, cambio a 5 marce e trasmissione Monza, sospensioni indipendenti con stabilizzatore anteriore, 4 freni a disco, sistema frenante a 2 circuiti, strumenti originali Abarth, parafango posteriore avvitato, come l'originale. Anche la vernice è originale Abarth con la grande scacchiera. Monta pneumatici Semislicks, all'anteriore 7Jx13
185/60-13 ed al posteriore 8Jx13 205/60-13. E' stato molto bello vederla girare, Harald guida molto forte e l'auto suona magnificamente. Un grazie a Berni Motori per avermi accolto al track-Day, splendida giornata. Buona visione ;-)

La R sta per radiale (in riferimento alla testata): l'albero a camme rimaneva sempre nel basamento ma sopra c'erano due serie di bilancieri, lunghi e corti; in questo modo le valvole erano disposte V e permettevano un diverso disegno delle camere di combustione a tutto vantaggio delle prestazioni. Non a caso questa era l'evoluzione più spinta della mitica 600 ABARTH. Spettacolare !

Adoro los Abarth 1000 TCR, tuve uno en el año 1977 que rescaté en un gallinero de un pueblo, lo restauré y lo vendí en el año 1980. No sabía el valor que ahora tendría.
