    thanks so much for this video! I'll be in Islas Baleares, but this put my mind at ease about the pay haha (although I think it'll be less for me?)

    Nice video. At the end of the video or in the description could you ask a question (ridiculous or not) so it's easier to comment on and relevant to the video. Thannks Byeeee

    I love this! I really want to it. Thank you for this. How was the application process for you?

    • @aimeeweekestravels
      @aimeeweekestravels  3 года назад

      Go for it! The application was pretty simple - just attaching CV, answering questions about why you would like to do it, where you would like to do it etc! But the application depends on each programme of course!

    This video was super useful! Thank you! I wonder, how was your Spanish if you knew any? I am at the end of beginner level i feel, eventhough i can read to an extent! I also work in film/tv/arts and would love to pursue it in Spain!

      I’m glad it was useful! I could speak it at an intermediate level but of course actually being immersed is a completely different experience! I always say though that is the best way to learn no matter your level - it’s hard but worth it.

    I really want to go to Spain, I've been teaching in China for almost 5 years.
    But here I'm getting like 2000 pounds a month and a free 3 bedroom house!
    The low salary an lack of help with housing in Spain is a concern, I can't budget to save my life 🤣

      For me I was incredibly excited (I moved from England).I was lucky however because I met a girl before who was also moving to Madrid - so I moved with her! Perhaps without her I would have felt a little more nervous than I was.

    You mentioned gym, do you pay for that membership? If so how much ?

    • @aimeeweekestravels
      @aimeeweekestravels  3 года назад

      I do, to be honest the one I go to its quite expensive. They have a cheap option of 19.99 for the year but I joined half way through the year so had to pay 28.99 and then I pay 5 euros on top for gym classes so it equals to 33 euros! :(

    Your friend only spends 350 a month on rent, I assume that's for a room in a shared apartment? You didn't specify.

    • @aimeeweekestravels
      @aimeeweekestravels  3 года назад +1

      Yes, all of those mentioned in the video are shared apartments and she lives with 4 other people. It's very uncommon to get an apartment for yourself unless it's a studio which are around 700/800 a month.

    Hello Good morning😊 how can I get this job, what are the requirements for this job ?

    • @aimeeweekestravels
      @aimeeweekestravels  3 года назад +1

      Hello! It totally depends on what country you are from but there are many programmes you can go with! You can type into google 'English language assistant' or 'Conversacion de auxiliar' and see what programmes come up for you. I went with the British Council but there are lots available. The requirements also depend on the programme but the one I went with, you needed to have completed at least 2 years of any degree. Best of luck and let me know if you have any other questions!
