Shinkows is a Chinese restaurant situated in Ooty. It is run by a Chinese man so here we get authentic Chinese food. Here we tried their Chilli Beef, Noodles, Soup and other dishes. I enjoyed their food thoroughly.

The crispy Veg Manchurian with their signature dipping sauce is my favorite. Nice to see the owner after a long time. Shinkows brings back a lot of memories of childhood and growing up in Ooty. Best food!!

The smell is known as wok hai. The smell of the heat from the WOK.
The fried rice or fried noodles will be nice to be eaten with sliced red chillies soaked in soya sauce or sliced pickled green chillies soaked in soya sauce.
Thats how we eat in Singapore Malaysia even London. But in London only Four Seasons Bayswater the rest of chinese restaurant serve chilli oil like in Hongkong or China.

Very surprised to see the owner was still healthy, I remembered those days while I studied at Government Arts College Ooty 1978-1979 pre-uni student, I missed the Chinese food, and I dropped by there twice a month. The fried noodles and rice remain the same after 45 years. With love and regard from Malaysia.
