Baked this today - what a crust and tender bread with the infused olive oil!!! I sprinkled with Sicilian oregano and flake sea salt before baking - a perfect flavor combo for this simple, yet delicious bread. Thanks again for sharing this recipe. Photo has been posted.
I use smoked bacon grease in my skillet, and chop up some bacon to add to batter. I sure am enjoying your bread instruction and recipes. You make it so easy to understand. Thank you.
Great work! A few months back I commented on your Muffaletta recipe because I'd been searching for one forever. I also inquired back then regarding the Schiacciata recipe and you have delivered again. Thanks for delivery on your promise. Great recipe again! BTW - Schiacciata is perfect for Italian sandwiches.

All of Schiacciata's recipes on RUclips are made with highly sticky dough. They mostly use a mixer because of that. Never tried the original Schiacciata. Don't sure your recipe is close to the original one. But it is simple and works without a mixer. I'll try it. Thanks.
