They constantly try to rule over us men in relationships and then get upset when they are above us. They struggle to see the bigger picture and the long term effects of their actions, we can see this today especially, many modern women are falling into these “situationships” and blame it on men but then she will jump into another relationship with a guy who was just like the last guy she was with. There are exceptions to the rule but just look around a bit and ask women that you know how many “bad” relationships she was in and you’ll probably come to a similar conclusion.

Schopenhauer knew some of the truth, there is actually no such thing as suffering. To blame the female sex for suffering is only even more deluded, although he is right about their nature, their nature has it's purpose and more than that they are more than their sum nature as men are also.
I doubt many people are any more than their nature, female especially so, because their biology and how they socialize is antagonistic towards any form of mental growth needed to be more than just an animal.

Schopenhauer didn't hate women: he explained who and what women actually are, and how radically this contrasted with the cultural and societal *ideal* of women. He praised women more than once in his famous essay "On Women," and also criticized them. No reasonable observer would claim that Schopenhauer hated women, but feminists have long equated anything less than effusive, unequivocal praise with "hate."
I have his essay on women, love and death, and he don't offer any positive praise about women. Is just a straight behaviour analisys on female nature. Rather resented. But true as the day.

So, while his view of women was largely negative, it definitely was not entirely so. I worry that both sides, in emphasizing the content they love or hate (or which they simply assume is there), are neglecting what Schopenhauer actually said.

Schopenhauer just shared his interpretation of some facts about human nature. For us to heed or neglect. Especially for men, I think. Too many men get destroyed for not taking in consideration their vulnerabilities in dealing with women.
Whay is destroyed is their ego, because the masculine first and foremost has been responsible for the fall from heaven, this is why in sound masculine is so close to the word mask or machine, it leads humans into a machine-like state of existence, because the masculine energy creates more patterns and is bound by the two dimensional consciousness. Whereas the feminne is symbolized by a unity of love, it is a third dimensional consciousness, it is the unity of creation that is reflected by the image and sound of the letter O, whereas the masculine is symbolized by the letter A. As the bible said, at the beginning there was a word, and it is the word that give birth to creation, and there two words O and A are essential blueprints of creation. The more patterns are created, the more time and space is created, more aging, more the spirit is falling into hellish realms out of the unity/feminine/heaven. So when men are destroyed by women, that is by design so they could merge with the feminine, what is being destroyed is that what creates more internal and external divisions, the feminine dissolves them.

You're trying to make excuses for why Schopenhauer believed so critically about women. Maybe it wasn't the restricted gender roles of his times. Maybe, just maybe he was onto something that is too unpleasant for most to contemplate.
It is Biblically stated that men are to be the leaders in a marriage. They ought to be a priest, protector, and providor over his wife who is to represent the church; his bride. The man is to represent Christ and lay himself down for his bride and love them. It is Eve who was decieved and Adam who blamed sin on the woman God gave him instead of taking responsibility upon himself for listening to here instead of obeying God in the first place. Thus, yes, women are more easily deceived, by whatever measure more than men. It is the mans job to check his wife and lead her to what is morally acceptable and pleasing in the eyes of GOd.

Philosophers can mock Christ all night and day but if you want a woman with a heart of gold look for one that loves Jesus. She will want to be like what she loves and His Spirit gives her love, joy, peace, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
