    Which means its been 1 year since i bought the product but i got to use it for only 5 months.

    I brought this laptop last year at around 60K! No Issues Till Date, I use it for Code ranging from minimal to emulator heavy, tried using game engines (in a limit) and gaming at low to medium settings (generally I leave games at the optimised settings) Games like Spiderman Resmastered, Miles Molares, RDR 1, Sleeping Dogs Definative, GTA 4,5 and Trilogy and Uncharted so yeah no issues. I would like to address that for this budget it is a steal deal! - Heating is not inefficient or over! the keyboard may get warmer but its not a deal braker. Webcam is decently good as i have seen worse webcams in laptops higher in the budget so it is not that bad! Speakers are low, okaysish in rooms. I use earphones mostly so yeah. Display is standard for the price you might not get any better in any gaming laptop in this range.

    Just a generic tip to whoever wants to buy gaming laptop:
    1. Always remember that the Laptop + Charger + mouse/keyboard (if any) will be heavy and if you are someone who travels a lot then think about it.
    2. These laptops require service (thermal paste replacement + fan cleaning) after every 7-9 months for optimal gaming performance else you will face overheating.
    3. You always need to be near a power supply for the best performance. and yes there are gaming laptop with good battery life but we all know that there are specific settings for that.
    4. Try to avoid Laptops that are total plastic build as these heavy machines with cheap plastic will break easily. So keep in mind the Hinge break and all are the common problems.
    5. Always check the reviews of the Thermal performance of the laptop. There are gaming laptops with 2 copper pipes and 6 copper pipes as well. so keep this fact in mind as well.

      @tanmaybanik8950 18 дней назад

      hey @jojolore8356 & @ramprasadsk4780,
      sorry i dont have any recommendations for best laptops under any price range. above are the points that u need to check in product reviews before u get any laptop. Moreover, i dont think there is any laptop in budget that ticks all the above, so check for the reviews and see what are the points you can take care from your side.
      My Exp:
      I bought a MSI laptop back in 2017 for 1L and i am dealing with travelling weight (~5kg laptop + charger + bag), plastic body (though it was good in the beginning but later it started to break) and i have to be near a power outlet for max performance and the battery life at beginning was 4hrs now its down to 2hrs. Its thermal performance is really good (6 heat pipes and 2 fans) and i need to service it after 1-1.5 yrs (specific to my laptop and usage).
      And Yes majority of gaming laptop doesn't have MS Office so i had to get that too and check if there is upgradability if u are planning to buy one now and upgrade in future.
      Suggestion:
      If u really have a budget, then try get the latest intel /ryzen without any discrete gpu and a good build quality as their current integrated GPU performance is good for casual low settings gaming.

      Acer has no official service centre in India. All are third party I guess. Also no other company offers these price and specs without this compromise of service centre, like MSI.

Also 12th gen is already more than 2 years old. 14th gen is already out and the newer generation will be out soon. Take 13th gen minimum imo if you're considering to buy a laptop anytime soon.

    Pro tip - TDP in gaming laptop when you're looking at gpu means almost everything. Low TDP of a graphics card essentially means it'll perform worse. Don't buy this one 60w tdp is too low , shill a bit more but do make sure you get at least 70w

    • @thickwood8785
      @thickwood8785 Месяц назад

      the difference between 60w and 70w is negligible. remember performance does NOT scale linearly with power. at most a 5% difference, probably 1-3%.

    • @thickwood8785

      and most gaming laptops anyways lock the wattage to 60w on the normal mode, which is what most people use. (70/75w for high performance mode with aggressive fan tuning)

    Alright, i bought this in may, so lemme help you guys, great laptop for clg and all that, HDMI and thunderbolt are not connected to the dgpu (connecting an external display wont override nvidia optimus). Fan control is preset to 3 modes(cant change manual speeds) although you can see the manual speeds using an old nitro sense application. ive tried a custom vbios to override the 60w tgp on the gpu, that worked, but it stayed at that wattage( wont come down when im not using the dgpu), so avoid the vbios flash. Ive tried the new aspire 7 fan control application as well as the new alg application for this laptop - doesnt work, im still trying to bypass the acer check for those applications(to use that alg and aspire app). Other than that- battery life is decent( i keep it on 80% limited), speakers are good. MAJOR THING - laptop has bugs or glitches or whatever. the touchpad has input delay when on battery power (common issue), browsers seem to have problems where the search bars dont disappear (tried various browsers, even flashed a new win11 copy on to it), camera freezes after 15 mins( very disappointing, even acer cant fix this, online tests will be affected) if you want anymore insights into this laptop, drop a reply

    Laptop and gaming doesn't go quite well together. High performance cpu gpu will drain the battery so at most you will get 4.5hrs of battery life. So if you're planning to plug in the charger and play which sometimes boosts fps but then it becomes a sort of desktop pc. And doing that thing will degrade the battery even more faster.

    Asus TUF F15 i5 11260h better at 49k
    Reason:
    1. Higher tgp of rtx 2050 which is 75w, that means it is better than 3050 45w or 60w (don't let the on paper numbers fool you)
    2. Better build than Acer aspire.
    3. Asus offers 2 different variants which is F15 (15 inch with 16 gigs ram) or F17 (17 inch with 8 gigs ram) for under 53k which means you can get anyone based on your priority.
