The reason you'll be tired in games like this is that you're playing physical defense from beginning to end. The only thing that matters is that you win. Jrue does small things that turn into big things.

Newsflash: refs ain't that bad. They really aren't. If you have 3 complaints after a game, that's 23 other damn good calls. There are outliers (Wade 2006), but 9/10 times you can point bad players (Tatum) and bad plays (Smart rip-through), wayy before the refs. They don't magically miss calls more for you than them; it's called fandom. Focus and root for your team, and maybe they'll play better.

I’m a Celtics fan and regardless of the controversies they didn’t play well at all. It’s amazing it was even close. Celtics had plenty of opportunities to snag a win but couldn’t hit shots when they needed to.
Said it before Middleton’s injury was a blessing in disguise. All Giannis need are good defenders around him and some offense but he is the main offense of the team. Matthews did a great job defending the Celtics’ scorers
I think these are clearly the two best Eastern Conference teams. If either plays the Suns in the Finals I think it's basically a toss-up, though Giannis probably gives the Bucks the edge.

I played competitive basketball for 20 years. This is a shooting foul. There was 5 seconds left…safe to say he was going to shoot. Always shoot with 5 seconds left in case you miss and get the O board for a kick-out. Horrible call by the refs.
Pivotal point in the series. Celtics need to dedicate themselves to 3 things imo. 1) Get Giannis out of 1-on-1 situations. Late help defense is just giving him and-1s. You either need to people to slide and press early, or to keep out his hands in the first place. 2) Keep Giannis out transition. See a long rebound, don't go for it but get ahead of the problem. Giannis is smart, he won't try and bulldoze a wall on a fastbreak; you've got to get ahead. 3) Either shoot better, or get over the Lopez/Giannis barrier. The Bucks can't shoot a lick rn, and it's frankly embarrassing to see all these bricks. Either try and trap Giannis and Lopez in motion whilst getting floaters and paint jumpers, or don't shoot 40% from the field.

Newsflash: refs ain't that bad. They really aren't. If you have 3 complaints after a game, that's 23 other damn good calls. There are outliers (Wade 2006), but 9/10 times you can point bad players (Tatum) and bad plays (Smart rip-through), wayy before the refs. They don't magically miss calls more for you than them; it's called fandom. Focus and root for your team, and maybe they'll play better.

I’m a Celtics fan and regardless of the controversies they didn’t play well at all. It’s amazing it was even close. Celtics had plenty of opportunities to snag a win but couldn’t hit shots when they needed to.
Said it before Middleton’s injury was a blessing in disguise. All Giannis need are good defenders around him and some offense but he is the main offense of the team. Matthews did a great job defending the Celtics’ scorers

Celtics are done, as they had a couple of sitters that they would not capitalize on! They could lead the series. Milwaukee to the championship trophy again.

I played competitive basketball for 20 years. This is a shooting foul. There was 5 seconds left…safe to say he was going to shoot. Always shoot with 5 seconds left in case you miss and get the O board for a kick-out. Horrible call by the refs.
Pivotal point in the series. Celtics need to dedicate themselves to 3 things imo. 1) Get Giannis out of 1-on-1 situations. Late help defense is just giving him and-1s. You either need to people to slide and press early, or to keep out his hands in the first place. 2) Keep Giannis out transition. See a long rebound, don't go for it but get ahead of the problem. Giannis is smart, he won't try and bulldoze a wall on a fastbreak; you've got to get ahead. 3) Either shoot better, or get over the Lopez/Giannis barrier. The Bucks can't shoot a lick rn, and it's frankly embarrassing to see all these bricks. Either try and trap Giannis and Lopez in motion whilst getting floaters and paint jumpers, or don't shoot 40% from the field.
I have a simple take. If Tatum scored 12 pts (already way below his average) instead of just 10 pts, the Celtics would've won the game
