For those of you calling out Springer for not hustling out of the box, the highlights didn't show him tripping while he was just getting out of the box. The A's announcer must have been focused on the ground ball so he thought Springer had just given up. They showed a replay of him tripping on the Sportsnet feed, as Dan had also assumed George gave up on the play.
how does that explain the slow jogging clearly shown after that? Also notice Vlad didn't run on a ball that turned out to be a ground rule double. How hard is it to assume the best and run hard a few times a game?
@@olliverklozov2789 He fell on a routine ground ball to 3rd.. he had assumed he was already out.. but when he got up and realized what was going on he sprinted for a bit but still since he fell was no where close to first.. Bad call about Springer not hussling. He clearly slipped leaving the box area. Great pitching for both sides. I do hate when Vlady hits a long ball and he just stands at home plate watching it instead of getting down the baseline.
As of this game, the Jays have given up 83 HRs. The current MLB record for a single Season is 305. Im pulling for the Jays to break it this Season, Go Jays Go!
@@Andrew-nu4hi honestly, if my Jays are gonna blow it up and rebuild, I at least want them to achieve something this season, even if it's an infamous record for most Home Runs allowed XD
Just like to point out, as the Jays hitting was amazing as usual (sarcasm), that Teoscar Hernandez would have been our best hitter right now. And we traded him for Swanson, who at his peak was a setup man, and who is this year losing us games.
In the Dodgers lineup, he hits sixth and flies under the radar. There isn't much pressure on him there. He's on a one-year deal. If the Jays wanted him they could have had him in off-season. Having him on this team wouldn't improve their record that much. This team's problem are more deep-rooted.
How is Kirk on one knee with a runner on 3rd in a 0-0 game? They called it a wild pitch but if he kept it in front of him they win. There are times in the game when framing pitches comes secondary to blocking arrant throws. He didn't give himself a chance and it cost the team.
The highlights didn't show that he tripped while he was running out of the box. The Sportsnet feed showed a replay of it before going into commercial break.

@@a18yearoldonyoutubeluigi Thanks. A's fans are great. I really don't see a roadmap to them even getting to Vegas, and wouldn't be surprised to see them team up with Kings owner Vivek to keep them in Sacramento.

We need a change but there’s no reason for management to change the jays. They seem to have jobs for life. Toronto teams are monopolies in North America’s 4th largest city. If the money keeps rolling in, why change? There’s really no competition. It’s a bit like the LCBO, if fact, it’s a bit like Canada; complacent, fat and happy, without any aspirations whatsoever.
The Jays need a team shake up, firing the manager would be start, followed by the hitting coach. Neither of them are doing a good job. They have one the best starting staffs in baseball, but can't score any runs.
I see the GIDP Jays are as inept as usual. Key plays also include Kirk being unable to stop a pitch that frankly, any minor leaguer would have had. How much longer can Rogers handle the ineptitude of Atkins/Shapiro?
Shea Langeliers, the catcher of the A’s, failed to catch a pitch that literally was in the strike zone, rolling to the backstop and allowing a runner to move to second
Bassit throws a good game, eight innings of work. Only to lose one pitch after hes taken out. Jays moment of the season. 😂
