Hey man good job.. My bikes are early 80’s steely’s and I’ve used a fair bit of Velo Orange gear on them, really lifts these old frames… keep up the good work.. cheers from Down Under 👍🏼😉
try polishing metal with foil from your kitchen. I like the look of your first leavers as is with the patina. different strokes for different folks, though.
When you were trying to even out the pull on the front canti brakes you could have put the brake spring in a different hole on the fork post for more tension rather than bending the spring itself
Why do you work twice setting up canties? Just put on, cable it up, barrel adjuster out, inline the brakeshoe bolt with the pivot, install pads to contact with the rim. Barrel adjuster back and ready to fine tune the pull and centering. To max out stopping power, place the straddle hanger as low as possible (use common sense).
Sometimes watching someone do the work is better then listening to them trying to explain it. You're doing great.

@@77lukie unfortunatly this frame only has one hole for the spring. There were actualy a decent amount of bikes that didn't have that adjustment.
Tryna start a dream team I can dig it
Yep... I'm late.. story of my life 🙃...

Max. Just have this guy☝🏻
Do all your builds for you
He obviously wants to and is the only one in existence with common sense🙄
