Man, thanks! Built a BFPV Meteor 75 Pro Walksnail a year ago and it has always had a slight wobble only noticeable when hovering no matter what I did. Updated to 4.5.0, still wobbled. Applied your standard 1S whoop tune, fixed!
Just ordered an AOS UL10 frame. Going to build it up with gear I already have on hand : Goku F722 stack w/ 50A ESC, BH 3115 1050kv motors (on 5S), Walksnail video. Doesn't look like there are any presets for this frame. guess I can use the UL7 settings as a starting point.
I'm looking at which preset should match for my "AOS 5 v5" and the preset names and descriptions confuse me a little. There is "AOS 5.5 tune" and "AOS 5 tune", both could arguably match the name "AOS 5 v5". I guess "AOS 5" is the right one.
Chris, I’m pretty distraught and don’t know what happened. I have the AOS 5v5 frame with the supernova motors and not 10 sec into my first flight it dropped out of the sky and I found that two motors were burnt up. I used your tune in this video. This is my first build and it’s left me pretty low. Any thoughts? I would SO appreciate your help.
I just finished the same build, I noticed the motors sounded like they were “grinding” and then checked and they were hot. I’m thinking the supernovas need a master multiplier of less than 1.0 as when I switched back to the default beta flight tune, the motors sounded normal again. Hopefully Chris can weigh in on this.
hi chris, i update my UL7 with your 4.5 BF preset, i also switch PWM freq from 48 to 24kHz on my ESCs. Now when i arm, +20amps drawn at idle (pitch oscillation seen on the blackbox). As soon as i take off, normal amps draw, like 7. Do you what know happens to my quad ? first time i have seen this..
Found the presets before finding this video, the 3.5" one was a huge help for me since I'm unable to install MATLAB atm (apparently it doesn't like dashes in my username). I burnt up a component on my last FC so I had to swap it out aaaaand... yeah.
Yes, they may need different amounts of master multiplier so follow the standard procedure to gradually raise master until you find the max level without oscillations.

I tried this on my AOS 5 V2 with AOS Supernova motors today. There was still a bit of trilling with the master multiplier at 1. I've lowered it to 0.95 and we will see how it goes.
I'm gonna to test it today on my AOS 5 v5 + Supernova motors. Until yesterday (before installing this) I solved the problem limiting the throttle to 80%. Now I've set it back to 100% to see the effect, if I'll notice thrilling, I'll lower the value again
@ChrisRosser that's amazing!! thanks very much, sir!! I'm running one of the new Neutron RC AT32/AM32 w/BMI270, and I'm finding it to be a challenge to eliminate all oscillations. I'm very close, but still getting an unreasonable amount of propwash. I think it's a filter issue. Excited to try this out, and see how your settings differ from where I am. I've tried your rates on a friends AOS. Remarkably it flys worse than my Armattan Marmotte. So where's the problem Chris, poor tune or is it the case that, with the exception of the impulseRC apex, the Marmotte is still the best flying frame on the market?
You keep saying "drone" in place of "frame". Regardless of that, presets are never a good idea for tuning. For rc link? Sure. Never tuning or filtering. You're gonna burn up a lot of people's shit, just wait.
Awwww man... I was so excited to get home from work and download these. I've been working on a tune for the AOS T3 for a week and a half and I'm stuck with a lot of propwash and oscillations. I guess it's back to the struggle...🥲 Any chance of a 3s 3" toothpick tune and filters?? TIA.. 🙏
Im getting fly aways with a clean 2.5inch 3s build. I managed to make it flyable with an example on another similar build, but it feels extremely wobbly almost like its completely off rails. Any sugguestions?

I got bad flightperformance with AOS7 on INAV. Are there any suggestsions for PIDs in INAV as well?

Will these also work for tiny whoops with 20K-30K+ KV motors?
Try Ayykayy's preset, gary kents justice tune, or the karate tune. Ayykay's works great for me on high kv..
