You have been a long time supporter of Annoying and Chad and you are right, it will never be the same without Chad. It might be great, fantastic, but it will be something different. Chad had a million dollar voice and ability to write differently than Grant. When two of them split, it broke my heart, because they were extremely compatible, they covered different parts of emotional spectrum and, in my opinion, they worked better together than alone, correcting and inspiring each other all the time. You have to be very lucky to get a gift like that from life. I thought if we record an album it would glue them together, but Grant rejected that offer while Chad said that he wanted to record and that is how Chad and I ended making Chad's "Duct tape Rose" CD. The video is from the film. Since I cannot put every song from the film on RUclips I thought I will just make something simple. I ended up "recycling" original video, making it appear rotten and I liked how "pusy" and "low quality" it looks. Say hello to wonderful country of Sweden! And THANK YOU!

I have to disappoint you that there is no CD coming, at least that I know. Duct Tape Rose has been out for two years now. Maybe Grant will make a CD some time soon, but I wouldn't know. He mentioned recently a CD and I said I'd be open for it, but then you lose contact with Grant so easily, he just disappears from internet. I know that he will be a father and that is good news, he later put it on Facebook. If he is up to it, I'll do it. He never hurt my feelings when he rejected first offer, in fact my reply to him was that I understood (I literally said to him something like "Who the f..k I am to produce a CD!" because I never did it in my life before, though I wanted). If anything happens with a CD either through me or someone else, I will support it and try to let everybody know about it. That was my way to honour peoples on whose land I live now. I am now Canadian (20 years immigrant from former Yugoslavia) and I can tell you that Canada is a wonderful country and people here are good people. Generally speaking, Canadians are less racist than most nations on this planet. Having said all of that, there is a long and ugly history of unethical and criminal official practices towards Native Peoples. It is not that racism is that much in so-called "white people", it is not (well, there are racists everywhere), but it got over the centuries deeply implanted in our institutions. The history of official policies towards "Indians" is extremely dark, most skeletons in Canadian closet are of "Indian" kind. The suicide rate of Native youth is upsetting and high. But it looks that things are really changing now. The new prime minister made some real and also symbolic steps towards saving our Canadian face, Canadian media now talks about "cultural genocide" that was applied (I always say that cultural genocide is "when you don't kill them, but you arrange that they kill themselves"). O, man, you are welcome! People see somebody flying a sign or being high and they think this or that, but my experience with these "misfits" was always good. Some of them, likely many, got bigger share of troubles than they ever deserved, sometimes they are not aware of it. One day society will look at its own practices as heartless and wrong, but that day is probably not close. Not that I approve of excessive drug usage, but I can understand. And I always felt good in their company. In fact, after doing a couple of films that touch this population I really prefer them over "normal people". And you are right, if you dig deeper the different picture will often appear and many things society do will show themselves as wrong and even the cause of the suffering, being heartless. Yes, my friend, you are right about RILL and REAL, absolutely right. That is why I apologized. About TASTE, I am not sure. You might be right. Even though I live in Canada for 20 years now I still have quite a bit of an accent (they often ask me if I am German). That accent is also in my ears. I asked Grant and Lucie to check the the lyrics and fix my mistakes if they found some, but it was hard to get them to help me about it. Once I learned my mistakes it was too late, the video already had bunch of views and I felt sorry to discard them and all those likes it got by re-uploading correct text. A-ya-ya! Sloppy it is! :)

O, man, you are welcome! People see somebody flying a sign or being high and they think this or that, but my experience with these "misfits" was always good. Some of them, likely many, got bigger share of troubles than they ever deserved, sometimes they are not aware of it. One day society will look at its own practices as heartless and wrong, but that day is probably not close. Not that I approve of excessive drug usage, but I can understand. And I always felt good in their company. In fact, after doing a couple of films that touch this population I really prefer them over "normal people". Normal people are for me mostly people that just pretend to be normal. Cheers to you and all the best!

Yes, my friend, you are right about RILL and REAL, absolutely right. That is why I apologized. About TASTE, I am not sure. You might be right. Even though I live in Canada for 20 years now I still have quite a bit of an accent (they often ask me if I am German). That accent is also in my ears. I asked Grant and Lucie to check the the lyrics and fix my mistakes if they found some, but it was hard to get them to help me about it. Once I learned my mistakes it was too late, the video already had bunch of views and I felt sorry to discard them and all those likes it got by re-uploading correct text. A-ya-ya! Sloppy it is! :)
