All good, but you should have configured a permission that a worker can remote from home using rd gateway to login to his client machine in the office - that would have been more interesting.
weird despite having the same setup i am unable to reach the network resources. Within my company i have enabled RDS for basic account software to run on multi-user mode. I hoped to access the same from an external network(public network) so that i can continue using the account software from home. I didn't wish to port forward this thing as ddns and all is a little complicated for me. Is there something that might have been wrong If i followed the exact method?
Can I ask one question please? We are using RDS in our company, but not RD-Gateway, only portforwarding from router directly to Server. Am i right that this scenario(Gateway) is useful in case that i have for example 4 RDS servers and i dont have to do portworwarding to everyone server?...I can setup gateway role and from that i will continue to server?...Something like proxy? Thanks for respond. Geat videos and series.
Dear MSFT WebCast, you have RDCB and WebAccess and RDSH on one SRV02 and RDGW on SRV03, please shortly, tell me, if i have separate Broker and RD Host servers, where i must connect to balabce connection for few RDSH? I must connect to broker or to rd host? Yes i have configured RDGW on another server too. Task is - i need configured many RDSH and how i can automatic redirect users to new one RDSH with balance?
Hii, I am trying to creat wifi on a CWN pl suggest me how to ..using radius server also clients will be using digital tokan for authentication. help me out so I ever thankful to u. Regards
I am unable to go beyond the Username Password stage. The error prompt is "The remote resource cant be reached. Check your connection and try again or ask your network administrator to help". Any help why I am not going beyond: Timestamp 14:20
I would say, check your firewall settings on all the servers to make sure you can ping and use the nslookup to make sure the DNS can resolve the domain name. I was able to connect and no problem.
You need create a CSR from within IIS. Then go to your certificate provider and re-key your certificate. Then download the certificate, which will likely be a .CRT file. You need to Output To File to create the .CER file. Then in IIS, select Complete Certificate Request using the .CER file you created. Then (still in IIS), right-click on that file and select Export. It will export to a .PFX file and you will need to provide a password for the file. Once that's done, go into Server Manager, Remote Desktop Services, Tasks (drop-down), Edit Deployment Properties. Go down to Certificates on the left-hand side, and for all roles listed click on 'Select Existing Certificate' and Apply.

yes, and also secure over SSL port 443, rather than the standard non secure RD connection.

How do you add a public certificate to RD Gateway?
You need create a CSR from within IIS. Then go to your certificate provider and re-key your certificate. Then download the certificate, which will likely be a .CRT file.
