Toby the Tram Engine - Sodor:87

This video is part of a project to recreate the world of the Rev. W. Awdry's Railway Series books in HO scale (1:87.1). Each locomotive character from the books, as well as some from the television series and some original creations, is created in model form using the real locomotive they are based on as reference. The vast majority are kitbashed or built from scratch due to most British railway stock only being available in 00 scale (1:76 running on the same track gauge as HO).

I have to say, this is a neat, impressive modeling display. As a train enthusiast I like how consistent you made your model of Toby look so superficial. The gauge scale is small but it's very simple and decent. Toby is one of my favorite characters ever and it's really nice to see how appropriate and well-written people in the Thomas fandom portray him into their canon styles like the way he is in the Railway Series. I swear, railroading gets more and more interesting by the minute I see it in any format from other people by using their creative minds.

Great stuff. Love the work you did. Are the cow catchers suppose to be blue or gray or black? I’ve been wanting to do a model of Toby in his RWS colors but I can never quite tell what color that is exactly.

I just took a other look at the illustrations and realized the cowcatchers are indeed supposed to be a dark grey. I kind of like the look of the blue all around, though. I might change it on mine, might not, but there's your answer.

North of the island there lives a dear old train a little tram engine Toby is his name.He's quaint and old fashioned but careful and wise his coach is Henrietta and shes seen better days. His mind keeps returning to the good old days when they were busy working everyday but nobody rides with them nowadays they cant understand why things have changed their line is closing down today forever TOBY OH TOBY what will become of you the worlds much nicer whenever we see you TOBY DEAR TOBY there still lots you can do oldies but oldies we still care about you.All of the children come to say goodbye they clapped and cheered as Toby rang his bell bye bye. Everyone was sad to see them go whatever will they do and where will they go. Suddenly news came to brighten up their day how Toby and Henrietta were needed right away. The fat controller had written to say could they please come and help right away now they're a part of his family forever. TOBY OH TOBY show them what you can do. The worlds much nicer whenever we see you TOBY DEAR TOBY there's so much to learn from you oldies but Goldies we still car about you oldies but goldies we still care for you.

I don't like the blue side plates, as always, I don't like how dark the brown is and I don't like the NWR lettering.

Why did you use the fucking chassy from the Bachmann Toby. Toby has side rods and pistons and the Bachmann Toby dose not.
